That is correct. they did not show what led to that. The fact that he was tazed twice and got back up leading the cops to believe he may have something far more dangerous in his system than booze. In short they were more than a bit scared of the dude and his refusal to allow the cops to put the cuffs on him only aggravated the situation as did the preceeding high speed chase.

I know there are a lot of you. You see cops and think "OMG!!! Let me just do what they say because I love the state, and the government is always correct!!!"

The juries are just people like you who just love the state. There might be a few guys like me, but we're like a pebble trying to stem the tide.

This is laughable BS. If you have a law you don't like jacking with the cop trying to enforce it is NOT the way to change it. It is however a really good way to ensure yourself some damn jail time.

Again fighting with cops is effing stupid as hell, first you aren't going to win, 2nd it is going to guarantee you extra jail time and get you introduced to the business end of a night stick or a taser. Cops target blacks thru selective enforcement of the law. Even though whites commit FAR more crimes, cops arrest blacks in far higher numbers. Naturally, the jackass judges in courts tolerate that, fill up the jails with blacks when whites should be the majority in them, and this is why so many mistakenly believe blacks commit the most crimes when they don't.

First of all, I did not say feds kill blacks. Secondly, feds too abuse their power. You just don't hear about it in the media.

 

Blacks commit stupid crimes. They hang out on street corners selling drugs, when whites don't.

Blacks need to understand that cops are looking for convictions. They look good on their record, and those idiots out there supply them in record numbers.

 

I was a fed for many years. In all that time not one of my colleagues ever assaulted or killed anyone.

Very true. You're not going to win fighting with a cop because even if you win more cops will come. You're chances of prosecuting a cop effectively through the law are microscopic. Trying to convict a bad cop is like trying to convict a pedophile priest. At worst, they'll get moved somewhere else or allowed to retire. If they do get jail time it is probably going to be far less than someone else who did the same crime.

You want to change police policy you're going to have to go way above their head to do that and good luck.

 

The point is that police are just part of the problem. Front line soldiers. Token brutes. In every culture or country their is a minority and the police abuses tend to escalate when they are dealing with them, but are not confined to them. It's simply easier for a cop to do something to them and get away with it because the minority in that particular culture tends to be despised and slandered. Kind of like the Gypsies of Europe. The reasons for this...we could go into that for weeks. But it's almost assured that when bad policies and practices persist in a society without change despite vocal resentment than it is being enforced and endorsed. If you're trying to fight police brutality and abuse of power, than you are going to have to fight state brutality and abuse of power. The you have to realize that the State does not simply make policy for it's own sake, but responds to prioritized interests, so you'll have to find out how or what those are and either change or remove them.

It is not an easy problem. It's a problem as old as civilization.

Nonsense. First, the purpose of police academies, is to weed out the power trippers, the glory hounds, and the hot heads. There aren't because of that very many bad cops to begin with. Add to that most major cities require a college degree preferably in criminology or law. The idea that cops are just street punks wit a badge is at best archaic at best.
