Evolution is change in the heritable characteristics of biological populations over successive generations. These characteristics are the expressions of genes that are passed on from parent to offspring during reproduction, and it's why your great, great, great granddaddy was condescended from a monkey.
That doesn't explain some of the things we see in the world. For example, bats and cetaceans have an echolocation ability. This requires that a vocal apparatus evolve, plus a hearing apparatus that can recognize the vocal apparatus evolve, and also that a brain capable of differentiating that vocal apparatus from all others evolve simultaneously.
Actually, it's a theory about what might be a biological process. Not denying evolution, but there are things about it that require further explanation.
Actually, 'condescended' is not a bad word for those who cannot understand evolution - even monkeys would look down on them....
Correct. Evolution is a religion. Science is defined as a set of falsifiable theories. Evolution is not falsifiable, since we don't have access to a working time machine to see what actually happened all those years ago (ie, test the null hypothesis of the theory). Therefore, Evolution is a religious theory. It is a religion.
Evolution, by definition, is not a religion. Evolution is falsifiable. We observe evolution in the lab. It is one of the most tested and confirmed theories in all of science.
they do not have to evolve simultaneously, that is not how evolution works life can evolve, devolve, so paths can die out, some can even now be manipulated by man
We do have access to a working time machine, three in fact: the fossil record, observation - you can see it happen! - and DNA. If you're unable to understand those things then it's probably wilful ignorance: it conflicts with your worldview and therefore you don't wish to hear it. More fool you.
your confusing how life evolved with evolution that would be like saying gravity doesn't exist cause we do not know exactly how it came to be... we know it 'is' regardless as we can test it and see it happening https://www.yourgenome.org/facts/what-is-evolution "evolution is the change in the characteristics of a species over several generations and relies on the process of natural selection. "
Religion does not require a "superhuman controlling power"... All it requires is an initial circular argument (ie, fundamental assumption) and additional argumentation stemming from (and dependent upon) that initial circular argument. Is Buddhism a religion? Buddhism does not require a god of any sort. Same with Shinto.
No, I'm not. We don't know whether or not current life is the result of mutations of earlier and more primitive life forms. We weren't there to see what actually happened... Natural Selection has been falsified. Natural Selection would eliminate the very variety which it needs to select from. The existence of the albino trait also falsifies it.
never said otherwise, I said evolution is real and happens as for how we evolved .... for all we know aliens tinkered with our dna in the past
You talk like someone who knows, when all you know is what you've been taught by authority figures. Tell ya what I know: if your great, great, great granddaddy was "condescended" from a monkey, you're not a human being. If anthropic macroevolution qualifies as such, they don't require testability either. Do feel free to keep it coming.
Evolution is 1) not a pipe dream 2) A Theory not a hypothesis .. meaning it is backed up by scientific fact. Evolution is simply genetic mutations that happen over time - the mutations that give a organism a survival advantage tend to survive better - those that do not die off quicker. Your claim that genetic mutations do not happen - is simply false. You can open a textbook and read about how these mutations happen. What you can't do is open a textbook and find out what God is - what God thinks - and so on. One is a scientific fact, the other is things that humans make up that can not be proven.
You don't need a time machine. We can witness evolution happening right here in the present. Genetic mutations happen -
