Texas is a pretty "laid back" place to live outside of the major metropolitan areas.

We had 12 people killed here in "gun-humpin" Virginia Beach a few months ago at the Municipal Center.

I'm getting reports of 5 dead, 21 injured (including 3 cops) and I'm not sure if the dead shooter is included in the stats.

I'm getting reports another assault weapon was involved based on the amount injured and scenario. This **** of having our cops outgunned and doing high risk tactics to save lives isn't acceptable. We've been lucky so far lately and haven't lost our cops, but the clock is ticking. I realize cops have a dangerous job, but we need laws to give them a better chance of returning home without a hospital stay.

 

That no Govt or official could likely determine he wasnt of sound mind...before he went looney. So thats that idea (preventing the crazies from getting guns) isnt so easy.

Yep, the media has been thorough in ensuring that everyone knows the shooter is white. Like, it's crucial knowledge.

Being white in Texas is a tricky thing.

What the media won't bother to tell anyone is that around 75% of mass shooters are not white, and nearly 50% of all homicides are committed by a demographic that's less than 13% of the population.

 

Weird, when the arguments were made for stop and frisk laws in New York, or when extra scrutiny was given to Muslims being searched at airports, it was considered incredibly racist. Funny how that works.

 

It isn't funny when you have a mind that can analyze facts.

Figure it out, we have a President and his minions who support and encourage this type of outrageous behavior. Enough excuses, deal with reality for a change.

Take a long look in the mirror and ask yourself why any other circumstances is an excuse to not deal with this one.
