    a) the federal payroll does have an impact on the economy; believe it or not, federal employees are actually people who take out mortgages, buy cars and groceries, etc., etc. b) a 1% pay increase is less than inflation, ergo a real income reduction and, of course, c) lower effective incomes will reduce consumer spending and dampen the expansion of productive capacity and GDP growth.

and can not become law until the president signs it. Why did he increase the deficit every year of his presidency, and why does his proposed budget increase the deficit?

It's just a removal of the cuts he put in place. Nothing happens other than increasing revenue.

and can not become law until the president signs it. He's increased the deficit each year he's been in office. The proposal he sent to congress increases the deficit.

Yes it can.The president has no pocket veto. He either signs it, vetoes it or it becomes law in thirty days regardless.

The House can give the President a balanced budget, but haven't.

Whats wrong with republicans? They controlled the house for 2 of the budgets. Trump can veto any budget passed that comes to his desk. Whats wrong with him? Why hasn't he vetoed them and sent them back to be redone with no deficit?

    LMFAO!

Just the opposite. The Democrats want to spend way more than the Republicans.

    False.
    • The top 1% pays 40% of the Federal income taxes.
    • The top 10% pays 70% of the Federal income taxes.
    • The top 50% pays 96% of the Federal income taxes.
    • The bottom 50% pays only 4% of the Federal income taxes.

    Wrong!

They got a check in the mail. Now everybody except the rich need to pay it back with tremendous interest rates.

So the House is at least partially responsible for the booming economy?

Yes. And you showed there how effective they are there as you show here.

Everybody got a check. For that check the middle class will end up paying, not only their interest, but the interest of the richest.

Are you talking about the crumbs that Trump threw at the middle class in exchange for the expensive loafs he gave the rich?

Look at the deficit. Look at how, at a moment of full employment, GDP has basically frozen at a time of full eployment. That will give you an idea. You better save those crumbs, because while your so-called "benefits" expire, the benefits of the rich don't. So guess who pays the interest for everybody. Hint: yeah... it's the middle class.

"He"? Only Congress can appropriate funds. President Trump's budget reduces the growth in the budget. Dims are already crying.

Which makes him the same as every other president save the one that had Gingrich as speaker for six years.

Government spending doesn't have anything to do with a booming economy.
