    It’s an awfully big piece!

And a forest or hill are not angry constituents.

They are all being protected today. Being a Nazi is absolutely protected, don't like them don't vote for them but they don't like you too and they have a right to say so.

Let me get my head around this, minorities in US cities can’t be denied representation but minorities in places like Wyoming can? You are aware that people actually live in that state right. It’s not just sheep and goats and geysers?

All this red can’t be ignored.

Exactly my point. People are the things Congresspeople and Presidents supposedly represent. In the case of the President where they live is irrelevant

If it was not based on "winner take all" the problem would not arise. Whether I live in the country or the city why should I be disenfranchised because my vote disagrees with my neighbors

States should have the ultimate say as the power of cities is too paramount.

But giving the power to electors who can disregard popular sentiment is too much.

So let’s eliminate the human element.

Why not? You're already ignoring all the blues that made the 'red' up. The way you got that chart was to split the whole into a multiplicity of little provinces and then give each province totally over to whoever got the most votes there, if it was 49,999 to to 50,000 that province was red and 49,999 blue votes were forthwith ignored.. And in many cases the provinces were DESIGNED to have more red than blue. That chart is a monument to the misrepresentation of mathematics and the purposeful misunderstanding of numeration. It is, much like the Electoral College itself, a good looking CHEAT done in plain view.

There is no way in hell or anywhere else you can say that a system which gives the victory to the side with 3 million FEWER votes is fair or even rational.

**** the electors, WHY are they standing between the people and who the people really WANT? Let's RETURN the human element. PEOPLE elect Presidents, not fields and hills and trees.

That is exactly what you advocate, disenfranchise your neighbors because their politics differ from yours.

The electors are in place to insure that ALL the people have a voice. But you know that.

A black man walking through a white neighborhood late at night is much safer than he would be if he was walking through a black neighborhood late at night.

Tell that to the 3 million MORE people who voted for Clinton over Trump. The Electors are in place to ensure that some people have much more voice than others.

Any man walking through some neighborhoods late at night isn't very safe.

I advocate that the person who gets the most votes should be the winner of the election. Imagine that.

And they do, you're just counting the wrong votes.

Territory doesn't have the right to vote, only citizens do.

Those people "there" have the same voting rights as everyone else...except the EC gives their VOTES more value than it does for other citizens.

What makes them so special that their votes count for MORE than the MAJORITY of the citizens?

Is it because they are white nationalists whose ancestors fought to defend slavery?

No, it works terribly if it is meant to insure equality. Under the EC a citizen of Wyoming has as much influence as do 8 Californians. Now tell me even one actual RATIONAL reason that should be so.

    Then change the US constitution.
I think that there is no reason to have a senate for example. And the Supreme Court is the least democratic institution in the US.

Nope, a white man walking through a black neighborhood at night is systematically targeted. That is not true in reverse!

A black man in a white neighborhood? Bulldroppings he's not being systematically targeted, and usually by a group of armed men networked by cell phones

God help the poor bastard if someone calls the police.
