Lying to the fbi is considered a process crime. He is pleading guilty to making false statements on a fisa application. He lied on a fisa application. Not a process crime.

A plot to find out who was colluding with Russia.
Still no evidence it was an IN to anything other than who page spoke to overseas. And like I said, they said he wasn’t ever on their campaign.

He lied to a judge basically. Sort of like Flynn did when he said he was guilty then changed his mind.

How does one define 'process crime'? And if it's a crime, why is not considered a crime??

not even close. one lie was made in attempt to surveil and potentially destroy someone, the other was made in self-defense. Thats a pretty big difference.

This guy too! Lawyers are expensive for everyone! Flynn at least had his money as an illegal foreign agent to use.

Destroy? How does surveillance destroy people? Flynn didn’t lie in self defense, he had no reason to lie.

'potentially' destroy. Why else would the FBI want to surveil? The whole purpose is to catch criminals.

I thought lying to investigators wasn’t a crime.

And of course this is a “process crime” right... so it doesn’t matter?

Oh and he was hiding the fact that Paige was a one time CIA asset... which is kinda sensitive stuff

On any case hardly the groundbreaking explosive indictment we were lead to believe Durham was after

oh yea... and Carter ****ing Paige? Wasn’t he fired by the Trump team because it became known he had Russian connections BEFORE the FISA warrant was issued?

Sadly for that narrative... Paige was long gone from the Trump campaign by then

Yah he talked to people who tried to recruit him as a Russian asset. Then, he went back to Russia.

Pretty sure the Russian ambassador joked that Page visited Russia more than he did.

Yep, but that's not what you said. And technically, he altered a document used to get a FISA warrant renewal...

Also, not to completely split hairs with the thread title, but Horowitz was the one who found this issue and referred it criminally, not the so-called Durham investigation... I think we should all remember that it was an IG who found this information.

We are talking about the FBI lying on a warrant ap. to surveil someone inside Trump's campaign...just to look for a reason to break the news on Trump being corrupt, not the OIG review.

Either way, it isn’t a process crime which is the point I was making.

And WTF is with your defense of this behavior? The Obama administration was spying on the incoming trump administration.
