It is this way because the right, and especially Trump supporters, have observed a straight up assault on free information that doesn't favor the left. Evidence that is damning to them is often played down and ignored as much as possible, while the slightest shred of evidence going the other way is blown up on every news cycle 24 hours of the day. You also now have social media giants actively censoring any opposition to the Biden election or any kind of news or information that favors the right. It was obvious during the Obama years but they at least tried to pretend to be legitimate, however Trump blew the lid off and exposed just how nasty and hateful left leaning news organization are towards right leaning Americans. It showed how far they will go to be intellectually dishonest with Americans in an effort to make them believe the way they want them to believe. As an independent thinker that's terrifying to see people who want things that are not in my best interest being so successful at herding the sheep

As for investigating and letting the justice process take place - I agree. And one after the other, Trump legal teams are withdrawing their cases or they are thrown out.

 

A) Why do you believe Dems aren't interested in election integrity? I haven't seen any Dems say they are against election integrity
B) Speaking for myself, I'm all for election integrity. What I am against is pre-emptively claiming one side is going to steal the election. What I am against is claiming one side won by illegal votes despite having ZERO evidence of such.
C) Why are there Conservatives who weren't concerned about election integrity in 2016 but all of a sudden are so in 2020? Why the 180? Oh right...because Trump told them to be concerned.

Trump is an illegitimate occupant of the White House, no "president" worth the name. But he legally wields the powers of the Presidency. Trump supporters however are claiming that Biden is not only illegitimate as a leader, but has stolen the election. Given that so many Trumpists are armed and dangerous, the Secret Service has its work cut out for them protecting Biden - and, especially, Harris.

 

I still like the electoral college. It’s important for ensuring the less populous areas of the U.S. are not discarded. In 2016 no one thought Trump had a chance so no need. 2020, Trump is wildly popular and won on election night only to loose in the middle of the night when no watchers were present. I am sure you can comprehend the issue, or not.

 

There is one upside to this. Future generations will not be deluded about Trump, the way his Cultists are. They will find it hard to credit that anyone really supported this cartoon Caligula... but they won't be able to deny it, when millions of Trump supporters are still spouting their unhinged beliefs, decades from now.
