Yes. But as you pointed out there is a potential that that’s not the case. I however agree with the whitehouse in claiming that the posts on this including the New York Times didn’t include the chances of the vaccine decreasing death.

Look... If blood clots are your concern, why are you using that to justify not getting the vaccine? In and of itself it's amazingly lame but, in any case, why are you not promoting Pfizer and Moderna which HAVE NOT produced any blood clots. That omission alone is DEFINITE proof that what you are spewing here is propaganda.

Where did I mention parties? I said partisan hack. It is possible to be partisan to things other than a political party

    sure, sure, buddy.
Yes, I'm a member of the Party of Science.
What makes you think that the virus is NOT much much much more dangerous for blood clots than the Pfizer and Moderna vaccines?
Do you actually understand the percentages???

I’m not. I just am justifying my opinion that the individual can make their own choice without discriminatory remarks by you or me

I believe in individualism and allowing for their own choice. I have never once discredited the science

No! It means what it says. That they are less likely! As in more than 90% less likely. And of this they are absolutely sure!

Finally I can agree with you on something. But that doesn’t change the fact that people should and ought to make their own choice without discrimination

People making this political is what’s stopping people from vaccination. If politics left well enough alone we would have a higher turnout

Exactly. You are justifying people... let's not even talk about putting their own life at risk... putting the life of OTHERS at risk, putting the life of children who can't get the vaccine and of people who can't develop antibodies at risk, putting the economy at risk (if shut downs become necessary again in the future because we haven't reached herd immunity), putting the life even of the vaccinated at risk by being fertile ground to developing a vaccine-resistant mutation.... You are justifying all that base on three cases!!!

And you still claim that's not propaganda?

    https://health.ucsd.edu/news/releas...with-blood-clots-worsen-patient-outcomes.aspx
The study referenced in this article talks about 20% to 31% of blood clots with Covid-19. Others have mentioned up to 38% (in my posting history if you're persistent and you search, you'll find that article linked to).
Do you actually think that this is not MUCH MUCH MUCH MUCH more frequent than the 0.0006% we see with AstraZeneca, and almost never see with Pfizer and Moderna??? Are you able to do math and compare 31% to 0.0006%? Hint: Divide one by the other. The virus is 51,666 more dangerous for blood clots than the vaccines (this, for the AstraZeneca; infinitely more than that, for the Pfizer and Moderna).

So, when I state these FACTS it means I'm a partisan hack??? You're out of your mind.

By the way, please refrain from personal attacks. It's against the rules here.

Yes! People who repeat the talking points on the right are what's stopping people from vaccination. And I'm referring to baseless propaganda. Lies like claims that the vaccines are experimental. Or that people are justified by three isolated cases to not get the shot.

That is coming from political pundits on the right. From Fox... from Tucker Carlson, Alex Jones, the extreme right wingnut tabloids!

Those are keeping this alive. And people are dying!

I don’t just hold this opinion on here. I’m solid in my beliefs. Here’s a screen shot of me and my mothers conversation about it.

You told me my beliefs were in baseless propaganda yet I shown proof of my beliefs. You honestly think calling out republicans as anti vaccination as whole doesn’t make them dig trenches? You’re contributing!

Getting others infected with a life-threatening virus is not an individual choice. It's a choice you make for others. And it's immoral!

    This is true.

The more the evil cultural marxists FORCE the vaccine... the more people will question and reject it.

Ironically, this is a good thing... because many of those who take the vaccine MAY live to regret it.

No you didn't. You just showed more of the propaganda that you found on the right wingnut pages where you found the rest of your propaganda. Nothing that could be even remotely considered "proof". Proof is the court decision I showed you, in which it was adjudicated that these are not, like you claimed, experimental. That's what proof really looks like. And you have provided nothing even remotely resembling that.

Zinc doesn't even work without a ionophore. Tell her to add quercetin.
Anyway, while Zinc, vitamin D and C, quercetin, fluvoxamine, famotidine, melatonin, etc. (and possibly ivermectin) are of limited help, they won't withstand the onslaught of the Delta variant. You need to do a better job convincing your mom to get vaccinated, or you'll risk losing her. Seriously. Sure, respect her choice, but it doesn't mean you shouldn't try. This is life or death.

I agree… I really do. But the conversation obviously has gone deeper than just a screen shot. The point is people that scream this as if they’re high and mighty above all others makes them dig that trench. It doesn’t help.

you should see her get defensive. This is working her into it

In my posting history here I spent months, almost one year being very patient and explaining things gently (and I was repeatedly praised for my patience). For all my polite and gentle approach, I don't think I convinced a single person here to get vaccinated, although I spent a lot of energy trying my best. Maybe one.

At one point (at some point in June) I threw the towel (I even started a thread saying, I'm throwing the towel) and started being a lot more incisive regarding the deniers and anti-vaxxers. I concluded that these people are beyond help and won't listen to logic and facts. It's like a disease and it is more prevalent than Covid-19 itself. A horrible disease of preferring junk science and conspiracy theories to real science.

I'm for patient autonomy and against mandates.

But enough is enough. These people are perpetuating the pandemic (thus destroying the economy), fostering mutations, and contributing to maiming and killing others. At this point, I don't even think they deserve a lot of respect.

    I don't suffer fools lightly.

I feel like posting “You don’t want the vaccine - fine your body your choice x there are billions in this world that do but you do NOT a have the right to misinform others and prevent them from getting it nor do you have the right to infect others.

Vaccines are like underarm deodorant - you have the right not to use it and we have the right to avoid the hell out of going anywhere near your stinky body!

    That's Fake News:

"A new survey shows that it isn’t Republicans or MAGA fans refusing the vaccine. In fact, it is people who don’t pay attention to politics at all.

In fact, even CNN accidentally reported that it isn’t conservatives or Republicans who are the problem:
You've been informed of this before. It's easily found with a search. Why are you still posting fake news?

    https://lidblog.com/not-republicans-resisting-vaccinations/
    More Fake News:

CDC study of an outbreak several weeks ago in Provincetown, Massachusetts.
I presume that you are clear on the fact that 74% is nearly 3 TIMES 26%? 3/4ths of the COVID sick were FULLY VACCINATED and 1/4th were not?

    But what about hospitalized?
That is 80% of the hospitalized WERE FULLY VACCINATED and on 20% of the hospitalized with UNVACCINATED.

The vaccinated sick had viral loads as high as the unvaccinated sick
HERE IT IS: The actual data on which the CDC’s new mask guidance is based.
