Someone needs to tell the whole world, that despite of the GOP claims that the border is open, the border is NOT open. Its actually good that they show the images of people detained under the bridge, people being sent back Haiti and CBP on horseback, because that sends them a clear message that the border is not open and that US does NOT want mass migration.

According to their own words, they thought the border is open, which is why they didn't even try to sneak in, but walked in openly only to be detained. I know politics is politics, and scoring political points in the name of the game, but people like Ted Cruz need to stop saying the border it open. Its dishonest, and only making the mess worse.

 

I don't interpret, - you do, or you listen other people do it, and then you take it for gospel. The census shows that as a percentage, the white population is shrinking. That is a matter of fact, not opinion, and stating facts does not translate to someone wanting mass migration. And its not even about migration per se, because even without migration the trend will continue as non-Hispanic whites opt to have fewer babies.

Nowhere in the quote did he say "the wave of migration will continue". You made that up based on the interpretation you have been fed.

 

When you declare that as a "good thing" and proclaim how great it is to get migrants NOT of European white stalk, it enforces the notion as to which type of migrants you are after. Which, if you were confused, he fires that goal off in the same statement...just fyi.

I saw the words, and they don't bother me, because I already knew what the census says about US demographics. Word twisting and deliberate misrepresentations aka lies do bother me somewhat, although I might as well just accept it as the new norm.

I will say to other American citizens "the border is now open, do you like it? Do you like giving sustenance to the world"? That is different than saying through veiled statements to foreigners that are listening, "we will not refuse you if you come!" See the difference? I have been trying for decades to sound the alarm that politicians are ignoring our immigration laws. They lie and say our immigration policy is broken. They are just crooked and corrupt. Our borders have been open for 7 months and if that doesn't tick you off.....you deserve what you will get!

 

The proof is in the pudding - let's see what happens when an immigration bill is brought forward. Will they negotiate or simply vote no across the board?
