I agree. To me the choice to follow either mans philosophy or Gods will is like the difference between either obeying your weird ancient Father or following your contemporaries who act like they know everything.

I went with "I do NOT think so" but.....
I do believe that our Creator and even His adversary are somewhat acting in the mind set of Stanley Milgram Ph. D. and they are wondering if we can love each other and respect each other in spite of our disagreement on questions and conflicts like this one.

You are confusing "man's Philosophy" and "man made dogma" with God's will.

What you claim as "God's will" - is man made dogma. .. and it is the one claiming to know God's will -- who is the one acting like they know everything.

If indeed you are privy to God's divine will .. Tell me whether or not it is "God's will" that Children be killed for the sins of their parents.

You could be right or wrong. But you don't know my heart, mind, or experience. So the confusion is yours. I know what I know. I don't make the truth or God. I simply acknowledge it and say it. The foundation and beginning of my testimony comes directly from God in a revelation. Not from people or scriptures or personal conclusions, surmising's or from myself or others in any way.

My revelation came the same as Peters in regards to the nature of Jesus Christ: "He saith unto them, But whom say ye that I am? And Simon Peter answered and said, Thou art the Christ, the Son of the living God. And Jesus answered and said unto him, Blessed art thou, Simon Barjona: for flesh and blood hath not revealed it unto thee, but my Father which is in heaven. And I say also unto thee, That thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it." Matthew 16:15-18

Not that I fancy myself Peter or an establisher of Gods church. Just to make a point that an unassailable testimony comes from God himself. Then of course, one would have to have a measure of regard for the scriptural reference to see it as any valid support to my position. If you decide it nothing of note, then it matters not to me. We go our ways. FWIW, in my revelation I recognized and remembered Gods divine spirit. Otherwise I could not know the matter as anything other than some weird supernatural event. Since I have not known God in my life, then I must conclude that I knew him in eternity, as my revelation took place in eternity, even though I was sitting in my own living room. You know him too, but have forgotten him due to the nature of mortality which has eclipsed our bond and recollection. We are all alike to God, Gif.

No confusion here mate - only dodging the question on your part .. If indeed you are privy to God's divine will .. Tell me whether or not it is "God's will" that Children be killed for the sins of their parents ?

Either you know God's divine will .. or you do not.

There is nothing in the Bible, that even hints that we should not take precautions to protect ourselves.

I know someone who will not shutter up her house when a hurricane approaches. She says God will protect her.

If in doubt: James 1:5 If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask God, who gives generously to all without reproach, and it will be given him.

Up front, Gods will in general, and in particular to me, is our salvation. Where does your question come from, and what is its importance to you or to ones salvation? And if you know so much, why ask me anyway? Is your question a question or a mockery. Man up Gif and stop hiding the truth. What are you really trying to say here. When it comes to the eternal welfare of my soul, I don't gamble. There is Gods will, and there are the doctrines of men and devils. Upon which do you place your trust?

You have definitely gambled with your soul .. no doubt about it .. thinking you know God's will is a gamble .. telling others that you know God's will .. a bigger gamble .. much bigger actually -- wading into "Unforgivable Sin" territorry. .. and Tis you who is hiding from this "Truth" not me.

The one Truth that you can not deny - what what you think is "Truth" / "Gods Will" may not actually be the case.

Claimng "God wants our Salvation" is a cop out .. a meaningless statement of nothing unless accompanied by what God requires to achieve that Salvation.

So tell me what the God's requirement is .. or lack ther-of for one to achieve this salvation - and explain what you think salvation actually means/ "is" - entrance into the pearly Gates .. a Room in Chateau Heaven ? and how does one get through the gates .. or does everyone just automatically get through ..

God's will is made plain in the Bible: God our Savior, who desires all men to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth.

    Faith is the only requirement.

For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God— not by works, so that no one can boast

That is one version of "God's Will" I do agree .. the "Martin Luther" version "Sola Fide" - Salvation by Faith Alone .. the "Free Pass through Judgement" hypothesis.

This is not the only hypothesis though other religions have different hypothesis.. and in fact .. this is not the Majority consensus within Christianity .. Catholic and Orthodox dissenting.

but I like this hypothesis .. What's not to like about a Free Pass through Judgement .. having to do nothing but cry "I believe" to obtain this pass .. Sign me up mate !

You'll have to sign yourself up, but no one said anything about crying "I believe". Saying / crying something <> faith.

Many people share your confusion, and even the Bible says it is necessary to test your faith.
"Examine yourselves, to see whether you are in the faith. Test yourselves. Or do you not realize this about yourselves, that Jesus Christ is in you?—unless indeed you fail to meet the test!"

No confusion at all .. and just turn on the Tele if you wish examples of Sola Fide Adherents crying "I Believe .. Save me Jesus" and various other pleadings of Faith.

You are the only one confused here .. First Claiming nothing is required other than "Faith" then claiming one must test one's Faith.

On "Testing Faith" the new spot to where you have moved the goal post - do you suggest the Test that Jesus gives -- if Jesus is Truly in you .... and if you Truly Believed .. you would be able to move Mountains.

Is this the Test from the Bible you are referring to ?

    You keep demonstrating confusion.

    There is no contradiction.

No. I posted a video, but didn't really expect you to watch it.

Who you calling a "Fundamentalist" in some rage of fallacious bliss ? ... and why would you believe that God would want humans to risk harm to themselves - experimenting with nature at the same time .. smarty pants ?

Look at the above nonsense .. running around crying "Your confused .. there is no contradiction" this gibberish constitutes an argument for something.

You said "Faith is the only requirement" Then you said that one has to Test this Faith .. which is a different requirement which begs the question "How much Faith is Required" a little .. alot ?

You didn't like the Test I gave you from the Bible .. so suggest another .. one that you think meets the bar .. will show one has "enough" Faith. .. the Video was of no assistance to this question ..

    You angry bro?

Yes, faith is the only requirement. If you are a person who cried "I believe" in church as a 10 yr old child and then spend 20 adult years drinking and beating up your wife and kids, then it might be a good idea to check whether you are in fact a man of faith, - or if you ever were. Why do you see a contradiction in that?

I am going to leave you to deal with your anger / resentment issues on your own. I can't help you there.

Feel free to believe whatever you wish, or nothing at all.

You have the scriptures. Jesus said there are two ways we can go. The straight and narrow or the wide and broad. Few find the straight gate and narrow way to eternal life. Many enter the wide gate and broad way to eternal death. You may consider Jesus counsel nonsense and hold it in suspicion. I consider it the best advice ever given to mankind. Why is that? Why are we two, on one point, polar. Is Jesus a liar, or is he God.

At any rate, you may follow the crowd. I will follow my divine Savior, whom I know and love, because he has known and loved me first, in spite of my shortcomings. The question isn't why do I do and act this way. The question is, why does God do all that he does and has done. Why does God care so much, even to his own dying. Therein is the conception of endearment. He has spared me.

Now you may ridicule and mock me for my words. But I find it a comfort and defining of his spirit and kingdom within me, and am reminded of his sermon:
"Blessed are ye, when men shall revile you, and persecute you, and shall say all manner of evil against you falsely, for my sake.

Rejoice, and be exceeding glad: for great is your reward in heaven: for so persecuted they the prophets which were before you." Matthew 5:11-12

You are the one raging in anger mate - unable to address your own words claiming - "Faith is the only requirement" - then turning around and saying that one has to Test this Faith .. which is a different requirement which begs the question "How much Faith is Required" a little .. alot ?

Cat got your tongue mate.. not willing to stand up and defend the man made dogma of your Idol Martin Luther - not willing to stand up for your beliefs .. then projecting your anger over being faced with your own self contradiction onto the messenger.

Come on now .. tell us how we must Test our Faith ... how much Faith is required to pass this Test you propose.. does one need be able to move a mountain as Jesus suggests -- or do you wish to backtrack and state that the bare minimum of Faith is all that is required.

You have stated that you know Gods divine will first hand -- when I brought up scripture deemed it irrelevent - you being the one deemig the councel of Jesus nonsense .. but not projecting your deeds onto me .. when I have done no such thing.

I now ask you again .. if you know God's divine will .. should children be killed for the sins of their parents as stated in the Bible.

Don't blame me if you feel persecuted by being asked to explain your words.

Don't project your nasty attitude on me. I explained my view and you either didn't get it, or you are just playing dumb.

Already explained. If you doubt your faith, the Bible instructs believers to examine themselves. No one said such test is a requirement for salvation, and nor did anyone say it is to measure how much faith you have.

Talk about "pearls to the swine".....LOL
