No, I think they understand how a POTUS can declassify any document. What we're seeing here is mere deflection. You don't know that they all are for instance the traditional letter Obama left for Trump is HIS PROPERTY. And THAT is what was being discussed. And yes the FBI and Archives had acceses to the 15 boxes and had inspected them last June.

Then why did they take personal property and search the entire house when they knew where the specific documents the Archive was seeking were stored?

This ruse so they could conduct a search of EVERYTHING just to see what they could find. They knew exactly what documents the Archive wanted and where they were stored, they had inspected them previously.

He had it BEFORE he left when the documents were being packed and shipped to him by the GSA. And not everything a president recieves or writes on his own belong to the federal government and that is what was being discussed.

But then this was just an excuse to find SOMETHING...............ANYTHING because it appears they have NOTHING with which to charge Trump as the same with the Jan 6 committed who we need an investigation to find out if they had anything to do with this.

However the FBI asked them to do so, Mir a Lago is secure as it was during his entire term of office and as other Presidents who also store materials in their homes and still have discussions with current Presidents and others still in office. And we don't know for a fact there is anything still classified, Trump could have declassifed them as he was leaving office and they were being packed up.

But then that is not what this is about is it.

The FBI goes to a Magistrate instead of a federal judge to get a warrant to search a presidents home?
The have the search warrant information sealed?
They send 100 officers in the middle of the night for documents they already reviewed months ago?
The FBI and the DOJ refuse to comment on this raid?
The FBI refused to allow Trumps attorney to witness the confiscation?
They brought is a safe cracker to get into Trumps safe?
They same FBI that falsified documents to federal judges to get illegal FISA warrants?
