This is not a new idea. People have been claiming "After Death Experiences for many, many years. Does the word medium have any meaning to you?
    Follow the money.

I don't give a *&%$ about seeking agreement. I learned long ago that the woo types are usually too into it to be dissuaded by any facts. They have long ago lost the ability to apply critical thinking.

There are skeptics and detractors for every conceivable new idea ever surfaced. I've read Eben Alexander's first two books and am personally convinced of both his sincerity and his capable analysis of his own experience and how it fits into a broader scheme of life after life. I also watched him in several YouTube videos and on TV with Dr. Raymond Moody, and I see NOTHING remotely resembling a con man there.

There are now thousands of Near Death Experiencers around the world. I've met about 40 of them personally. Most have very little money and almost all that I've met care little about money or anything material. They are motivated to help others find what they experienced on the "other side." They are motivated by spiritual matters rather than monetary gain.

[QUOTE I don't give a *&%$ about seeking agreement. I learned long ago that the woo types are usually too into it to be dissuaded by any facts. They have long ago lost the ability to apply critical thinking.[/QUOTE]

Here I agree with you. Those who get into the "woo" are not only lost to rational thought but usually beyond hope for recovery. I'm as turned off by that perspective as you. I've lost both close friends and relatives who became interested in learning about NDEs and the afterlife, but got lost in woo-woo. That is definitely to be avoided.

So, you have not seen copies of the medical records.

Believing in NDE is being lost in the woo.

I have been privileged with the opportunity to interview more than two dozen individuals who have had NDEs personally, and I can tell you there's nothing bogus about them. No one comes through one unchanged. They are one of the most--perhaps THE most powerful personal experiences ever reported. Each of them dramatically alters the lives of those who have them--and always in a positive way. Clearly your mind is made up and there's no room for inquiry. Too bad. . .there's so much more to reality than you think there is. Sad that you won't allow yourself to experience any of it.

It's not reality if they weren't dead. It's only woo.
You have not seen copies of the medical records.
You have not seen copies of anyone's medical records.

How hard would it be for your doctor to publish the full records of his "death". If there is a death in a hospital, the attending physician must record the time of death. If there is no recorded time of death, your NDE doctor was not dead. Why won't your NDE doctor show his records?

There is nothing as sad as gullibility.

Have you looked into the near death experience account of the Israeli teenager?

    I commented on it:

I have been studying near death experience accounts since 1990. I believe that Natan recounted all that he saw as accurately as any human could do so. But.... prayers can alter the events for the better. Physicists write about Multiverse Theory..... it means that Ezekiel 37 can occur again and again and again and new time lines can be spun off. Each one can be better.... as we pray and repent at a greater level.

I completely agree with what Natan said that something as seemingly small as wearing Tzitzit can be very important. I am a Christian who looks at the words of Rabbi Yeshua differently than most do.

"Whosoever therefore shall break one of these least commandments, and shall teach men so, he shall be called the least in the kingdom of heaven: but whosoever shall do and teach them, the same shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven. For I say unto you, That except your righteousness shall exceed the righteousness of the scribes and Pharisees, ye shall in no case enter into the kingdom of heaven." ... This sound a lot like what Natan said......

Two years that are extremely important for the rebuilding of the Jerusalem Third Temple and the beginning of the fulfillment of Ezekiel chapters 40 - 48 are 2070.... and 2030 for us Christians. If we support you in what you must do...... many troubles can be avoided. Millions, perhaps even billions of lives will be saved if Christian and some Muslims support the rebuilding of the Third Temple by 2030.... rather than the forty year delay.

I watched the video on the 15-year-old Israeli boy you posted, who claims to have had an NDE. Like you, I’ve engaged in personal afterlife studies since 1991, and personally interviewed over two dozen NDErs in depth. While watching the Israeli video, my feelings became increasingly uncomfortable. The tone of this video is discordant with that of NDEs generally. NDEs—even those that start off negatively—always end up with a positive overtone, because their overall purpose is to encourage, teach or in some way help the experiencer. The tone of the Israeli video is dark and fearful throughout, and doesn’t match the general tone of NDEs at all. Secondly, NDEs NEVER show preference toward any form of earthly religious views. The Israeli video was strongly pro-Judaic, and seemed to promote one particular form of Judaism at that. The whole theme of the video was threatening (WW III), while the only solutions offered were tied to specific Judaic religious actions that any non-Jew would be unfamiliar with. This is the absolute opposite of what any NDE would do, since the lessons offered to the NDEr are always applicable to the general populace. I am deeply skeptical of the Israeli video being an NDE. It seems more like a Jewish extremist cult group propaganda film.

Yes... that is a good point.......
most near death experiences have a more positive flavour to them but.........
Natan was Jewish and Rabbi Yeshua - Jesus did state.......

    John 5:45

"Do not think that I will accuse you to the Father: there is one that accuseth you, even Moses, in whom ye trust."

Natan's NDE does seem to verify this statement by Yeshua and.... .
    another statement as well......

    Luke 12:48

But he that knew not, and did commit things worthy of stripes, shall be beaten with few stripes. For unto whomsoever much is given, of him shall be much required: and to whom men have committed much, of him they will ask the more.

NDEs teach us: 1) that consciousness continues after physical death, and 2) that judgement toward punitive ends is NOT part of the afterlife. Religious teachings that promote the threat of punishment in the afterlife are not accurate. Everything--every thought, every utterance, every action is remembered, but viewed from the perspective that can be most helpful toward individual learning and progression. The spiritual world is not punitive in nature.

I go into the presence of Jesus, in perfect joy, without sin or physical limitations, awaiting my new eternal body at the creation of the new heaven and new earth. Exciting stuff.

It is for those who have rejected God, according to Jesus, He spoke of Hell quite a lot. Should a Hitler not be punished?

The message of Jesus is one of love and forgiveness, not punitive action. Our prisons stand as a shining example of the failure of punitive action as a remedy for criminal behaviors. The goal of our souls is to grow in compassion; to be more "Christlike." The best way to do that is to learn from our failures and mistakes until we can demonstrate an ability to do better. That's why we all reincarnate--because one life time is never enough time for any soul to learn what is necessary for success.

I always thought that perhaps Hell was less of a punishment sent by God and more of a punishment that we end up putting on ourselves. Basically, the idea would be that when we die we see all the things that we have done wrong and any of the harm that we have caused. Then Hell becomes a burning fire INSIDE of ourselves, basically the guilt of all the wrong that we have done. I think that's the best form of punishment anyway. When someone punishes us we become resentful towards them more often than not. It's only when we punish ourselves that we really feel the pain of it.

Near Death Experiencers (NDEs) report going through a "Life Review," where they see and remember every thought, verbal statement, and action of their entire life on Earth, but they experience this review of life from the perspective of how each of these affected others around them. The NDErs feel the actual impact their actions had on others. The Life Review is an extremely powerful experience, and the strongest memory for any NDEr when they return from the dead. But the Life Review isn't aimed at punishing someone for their errors. It's aim is to teach the experiencer that there's more depth and power to our lives than we realize or are conscious of, and we all impact others around us in ways we're unaware of. The ultimate purpose of our lives here on Earth is to learn to be more loving and more compassionate; more considerate and more aware. Punishment of any kind is generally not conducive to that purpose, regardless of whether it's self-imposed or done so externally. There is a long established focus on punishment through our established religions. NDE and regressions research reveals evidences that illustrate the fallacy of this focus. Spiritually speaking, we all make mistakes, but those mistakes are keys to learning better ways of behaving and living, and should be accepted as a positive method of learning, not something to be punished for.

I used to think so too, but when I surveyed the evidence with an open mind, I found that evidence overwhelming. It changed my world view. Reincarnation is the ONLY viable explanation for the complexities of life as we experience it. It doesn't matter whether you believe in reincarnation. You're already a participant.

I remember the time I was a cave bear during the last ice age. It was a lousy existence. Another time I was a shrimp and got eaten by an octopus.

Cute. But the evidence on reincarnation strongly supports the idea that we never reincarnate at a lower level than we are currently at. In other words, humans never reincarnate as lower forms of animals. I know this contradicts the generally held view of reincarnation promoted by the Orient, but the evidence contradicts their view. Reincarnation is a system allowing us to continue our learning process over many lifetimes. It makes no sense to reincarnate at a lower level of consciousness, for that would involve a loss of what was already achieved and a waste of a lifetime. We ALWAYS reincarnate at the same level of consciousness or somewhat higher.

I never said that I had been a higher form and reincarnated as a lower form. I gave two examples without stating the order that they occurred. Have you ever been a horseshoe crab or a jellyfish?

Not that I recall. In regressions I've seen myself in three former lives. My wife has identified herself in six former lives, and knows quite a lot about several of them. My wife and I have shared several former lives together.

Nicely put. Strange as it sounds, it does happen on occasion. Actually, there are two families, our physical ones and spiritual ones. The spiritual families do reincarnate together on a regular basis, though often playing different relationship roles with each incarnation. For example, a close spiritual friend or soulmate might incarnate with you as a sibling in one life, then as a spouse in another, or as a parent or cousin or close friend in others. But members of spiritual families DO incarnate together repeatedly--because they want to. They generally don't reincarnate back into the same Earth family, though on occasion, that has been known to happen as well--particularly after an accidental death takes someone young before they get a chance to fulfill their mission or purpose. Infrequently, they will choose to reincarnate into the same family as a newborn and attempt to finish what they were prevented from doing by their early death. It's also worth noting that after abortions, the soul designated for that fetus can, and quite often does, choose to enter a fetus of a later pregnancy with the same mother.

The answer to what happens to you after death won't be found in any established religion, but CAN be found in research done by Psychiatrists and psychologists now available in books they've written to report their findings; plus, Near Death Experience (NDE) books written by those who've died and been resuscitated. I highly recommend all the books by Dr Brian Weiss and Dr Michael Newton. There are many NDE books out there--some really good, some not so much. Be thoughtful. There's also good websites on the NDE topic. Good luck with your inquiry.

But the life review part of the transition.... even for a Christian.... can be
less than joyful because each of us does have to review their lives.

I believe that the visionary dream given to Pastor Rick Joyner back in 1995 was
very much like a near death experience or out of the body experience.

This is down past the heading......
    "The Truth of Grace"

    http://64.71.77.248/fq-protestant/tfq-en.html

I believe that Pastor Rick Joyner was given this dream to help prepare a percentage of Christians
to accept near death experience accounts. The Life Review part of the NDE is predicted clearly in scripture.....
