We know Trump enjoys controversy. He has purposely started many controversies during his first year in office.

I am convinced that he is engaging in controversy now. He knows his base. He knows his base wants chaos in Washington. They were drawn to him because of his "drain the swamp" attitude and his war against the establishment and RINO's.

Trump wants the chaos and controversy a government shutdown would create and his base loves the idea.

Your small Alt Right is not the tail that wags the dog. ACA still in place. Dreamers not going anywhere. No wall. Trump will sign what the mainstream GOP puts before him.

    Guess what?

DACA passed in the Senate and would have passed in the House were it not for the same people trying to shut down government now.

The crazy " Freedom Caucus" tea bag folks

Oh, he'll eventually sign something, but it's not going to be what you think. Has that gash from Tax Reform scabbed over yet?

What will be real fun is that the last time around when the goverment shut down Obama played like virtuoso bureaucrat maximizing public pain and minimizing bureaucratic left leaning advocacy group damage. This time Trump gets to micromanage the shut down let's set back and watch if Push comes to shove if the Democrats have the balls to force a shutdown when they know that the pain will be spread in completely different ways than under Obama.

This time the Demos will own it and all the Repubs need do.....is make them pay.

Showdown Over A Gov't Shutdown — Blame The Dems, Not The GOP.....

The GOP is once again engaged in a game of chicken with the Democrats over the budget. They have until Friday to either extend their budget deadline, or to solve an impasse over the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) program, also known as the "Dreamers" bill. If not, Democrats have threatened to shut down the government.

What's obvious is that a shutdown looms not because of Republican intransigence or "obstruction," but because Democrats know they can always pin the blame on their opponents.

The outlines of a possible deal were clear: Trump has promised to build a wall on the border, and wants it funded in a new budget; he wants more security on the border; he wants to end chain migration and the foolish immigration "lottery" the U.S. holds every year to bring in 50,000 people from around the world.

And what do the Democrats want? Basically, a floodtide of immigration, including making millions of the so-called "dreamers" — young illegal immigrants who have been here since infancy or childhood — legal.

In the meantime, it must also be made clear that the Democratic Party will be to blame if the government shuts down — not the Republicans. The GOP made a good-faith effort to compromise, and were rebuffed by the Democrats, in one of the more cynical exercises in racial and ethnic policies in recent years. If the government shuts down, make them pay.....snip~

Sending that cuck Lindsey Graham to negotiate is akin to the Patriots trading Tom Brady for a kicker and a 6th round draft choice. He's even more useless than Jeff Sessions.

I already linked you to what he was asking for, as others have, and those things were not in the proposal.

Why would he approve of something when it doesn't have what he wants again?

Yeah, they could bring absolutely anything to him and he would, of course, sign it.

I mean it could be a zillion dollars for Mexico, FEMA camps for all conservatives, a million dollars for each poor mexican citizen in the US, and he'd sign it OMG HE SAID HE WOULD SIGN LITERALLY ANYTHING.

    Give it a rest.

The leftness is looking for any alternative reality they can find, and all know that the Demos would never negotiate in good faith.

Their cult followers are nothing more than extension of the Deviate Demos. So like their masters......they will never take the blame for their own mouths and actions.
