    Forever.
No one wants to like in a society where it is impossible for someone to shoot up a school.
    Including you.

Dogma-spouting weenies try to blame their mythical "left" for Americans' support of sensible measures like universal background checks, but don't offer any practical suggestions for dealing with the homicidal crackpots who take advantage of the permissive firearm laws to easily obtain their big shooting and slaughter children.

what if the school just made its own school department. And it was funded out of the school's budget?

One of the school districts here where I live built a 5 billion dollar stadium.
I think if you aren't trained School staff members would be a good move to.
Well my partner is a teacher and he's a man I'm not so sure he'd be too keen on carrying a gun at school. But he has a male colony that's a veteran of Afghanistan he wouldn't mind. It doesn't have to be teachers. It could be anybody on the staff. I think they should be evaluated and we need some particular training with regard to this sort of thing in schools.

I think something that would help is having more than one way to go in and out of a classroom.

That's because they had to respond. They had to decide to go into the meat grinder and possibly take the chance of their kids parent not returning.

If they were already there they would already have been there been in the meat grinder from the beginning it didn't have to dive in.

That's the point I'm making making millions of laws won't make a lick of difference if you can't enforce them.

Well I used to agree. But think about it: you cannot buy a bazooka or a fully automatic machine gun. If you could, Little Monster would have bought both and killed even more. So I think those restrictions are good.

Similarly, extreme restrictions on semi autos are a sensible measure. You can then cite the slippery slope fallacy in response, but there will be no large-scale confiscation of existing guns merely because sales of new semi- autos to angry 18 y.o. incel males is prohibited.

18 year old males are a target here but this was a weekend in Chicago and those are 18 and under shooters too. This shooting happened because a society can alter their reality and remain vigilant only so long and these people slip through. It will happen again because it has become an acceptable action.

You should read up on the Battle of Isandlwana if you believe that.

That's why diligence is crucial. Practice it enough and it becomes second nature, like wearing a seatbelt.

Yes you can. There are instructions online to make various guns into automatic machine guns. The only people that don't are the ones that choose to obey the law.
He could have, he didn't because people lie about what an AR15 is. The media and politicians have influenced that.
No they aren't. All that does is control what doesn't need control.
I don't need to cite the slippery slope that implies you are able to slide.

Banning fire arms made sure this could happen. What stopped this killer in uvalde was a man with a gun. That's what normally stops them. Making sure they can't be where they are needed results in higher death counts.

Why do you think shooters choose schools? They know they aren't going to get shot for a while.

I'm still trying to figure out where he got the money to buy over $3,000 worth of weaponry. I make a **** ton more than that kid and I can't afford one, much less two.

You do nothing but make **** up and expect to be taken seriously so I'll stop doing just that.

There is more to a gun that killing, you can cook with them, go fishing, and do laundry! It will occasionally sneak in your office and send cheeky emails, so be careful with your password!

He made a statement on murder rates and you countered it with a graph of household gun ownership and said what he said was not true. You ok?

SO instead of blaming the actual person you'd blame someone else? Why not blame the enablers enabler if you're playing the chain blame game?

19 3rd graders and 2 females? Yeah, he could have done that with knife. You think either one of those adult females were prepared to go hands on with an attacker who's armed with a knife? The kids' ages ranged from 9-11 years old. They sure as hell weren't prepared for that.

They'd have more chance there than if they were dealing with someone with an assault rifle

Dude! Shooting up a school house, or anything else, has NEVER crossed my mind. The difficulty level was NEVER a factor. You might oughta get some therapy after making that comment...lol

I mean you cannot walk into a gun store and buy a fully automatic weapon. You can make a nuke if you're smart enough and have connections.

LOL...no they wouldn't. That's insane. A machete/knife doesn't malfunction and it never has to be reloaded.

OK fine, little kids have more chance going up against a machete than an assault rifle
