The outcome will be determined by congress; that is not the same as proof.

I agree, but neither of those are criteria for impeachment or removal via 25th amendment.

It's such idiocy that some believe any criticism of the president is nothing but politics. Further idiocy is why Trump supporters DO NOT care what is in the best interest of the USA...ALL they care about is their self-serving positions. This is precisely why the USA is sorely divided and as such is incapable of moving forward...

Have fun dwelling on Obama and others you hate...while ignoring what is in the best interest of the USA...

No criteria is required for the 25th Amendment...as long as those required to approve the implementation agree to removing someone it's a done deal. It's unlikely it could ever happen but all it takes is enough people and states to make it happen...

A President isn't removed by a majority vote. Here is the process.

So, you don't want to answer the question. You want to the play the semantics game to avoid the question. So far, not one Trump supporter can explain why he/she is supporting Trump.

That's what I thought. People voted for Trump because his intelligence was on par with theirs.

Far as I know Trump has only implemented one major change and that was the tax policy change. And Trump's tax policy change was 100% unnecessary...

Tens of millions of Americans today will vote strict party lines no matter if the candidate is an orangutan! This practice is not an indictment of the orangutan but of the voters themselves. And there does not need to be any rational reasons for their votes which IMO is a voter dereliction of duty as a US citizen to place people in office that will do what is in the best interest of the USA. It's 100% biased self-serving behavior and detrimental to the future of the USA...

He has at most six, Hell be lucky if two of them don't blow up on launch, slave labor leading to pretty crappy quality control and all. The other will pass through at least three to four layers of ABM fire, Thad's and SBM III's for Japan and Korea + the Alaska ABM site on the way to the West coast. I love to be a fly on the WAll of Xi's Office right now. That's likely to be a real interesting conversation and likely more than a bit one sided.

Likely not..It'll be real interesting to find out what comes out of that apparently up close and personal conversation between Kim and Xi. I'd just about give my eye teeth to listen in on that conversation.

Gimme a break. You implied that a majority of the people thinking that a president is incompetent would be sufficient proof of incompetence to satisfy the criteria for 25th amendment proceedings.
ps I know fully well how the process works. I'm also pretty good at talking about the same question without jumping mid-stream.

You know the anti Trumpers today remind me so much of the people praising President Obama during his 8 years in office for throwing around executive orders and other measures not passed by Congress in order to "get things done".

They acted like there would never be a Republican president elected again. They couldn't conceive of the idea that a Republican would be elected and turn those same measures against them. IIRC one of them in this very forum said another Republican would not be elected for 20 years.

Now they act like no president will ever be as widely loathed and ridiculed as President Trump is now. They act like there is no possibility of a Democratic president facing the same level of criticism and possible removal from office by unelected means.

More of the same worthless stuff blaming everything on the Dems or Reps...this is precisely why there can be no rational dialogue and no consensus for solution of anything. Why is it so difficult to focus on the issue at hand instead of selective picking of past events?

    The TWO largest problems facing people today are;

    1. Clearly and concisely identifying the problems.
    2. Complete lack of problem solving skills.

As long as the collective we fail in these two areas, we will continue to fail at everything...

No, but it's long overdue to use Article I, Section 5 to clean out many members of Congress, such as brain damaged McCain and Pelosi, and Schumer for admitting he is just a shill and lacky for the intelligence community. Trangender Lindsey Graham should be removed for swinging a bat like a girl.

Actually, there is a requirement. Reread the 25th Amendment emphasis added.
    Section 4.
Whenever the Vice President and a majority of either the principal officers of the executive departments or of such other body as Congress may by law provide, transmit to the President pro tempore of the Senate and the Speaker of the House of Representatives their written declaration that the President is unable to discharge the powers and duties of his office, the Vice President shall immediately assume the powers and duties of the office as Acting President.

Good luck getting a 2/3 vote to invoke Article I, Section 5.
