I know that this can't compare because there is only one killed and three others shot, but it should have the left up in arms because it happened at a high school function.

Oh, now I know why the media isn't reporting anything about this. The shooter wasn't a white male Trump supporter.

I look at places like Venezuela, Hong Kong, etc, places where the government is tyrannical and the people are unarmed. Impossible, you will scream. Couldn’t happen in the US. Uh huh, sure.

I have no idea what you are babbling about with your semi auto assault knives. Apparently you don’t think people will find alternative ways to kill. You don’t seem to recognize that the issue is a mental health and criminal problem. You seem to think it is the guns fault. Weird.

I absolutely agree about gang violence and other murders. The criminal element will not follow these bans. They will continue to use guns that are already illegal where they are happening for the most part. All gun bans would accomplish is disarming people who will follow the law.

    Yes?
Again with "It's the left!" ..... "It's the right!" How boring and senseless.
Not good. Remove guns from the hands of Americans, I say.
No. You were actually right the first time. Read your own words one more time > > > > >
That's right! 100 people are shot dead EVERY DAY in the U.S. Now how would that look in the daily newspapers if they wrote about each and every one of them?

Remove guns from the hands of Americans! :clapping:

Not happening. Not now, not ever unless the government is willing to kill us all to stop the killing.

Golly! Do they all drink milk too? I think it's drinking milk that does it.
So you think that if guns are removed from the people then drive-by shooters will start drive-by knifing?
You don’t seem to recognize that the issue with the standard, American mentality is the problem. You seem to think it is the guns fault. Weird.

It mainly stems from the constant threats by government officials. If somebody constantly threatens you in one way or another on a weekly basis then it's surely understandable why you wouldn't wish to give them your address.

I would be much more open to having an easily traceable firearm registry "to track down guns in the hands of criminals" if my government wasn't consistently telling me that they want to take my guns away as well when I haven't done anything wrong.

How many teenagers have access to AR15s? What age should access be granted? It would seem to me that if a person is considered responsible enough to vote, then that person should be able to enjoy his/her constitutional rights. For many on the left, that age is 16.

    Let’s fix your attempted analogy:

Legal to sell alcohol to person of age(21). Illegal to drive drunk.

Legal to sell rifle to person of age(typically eighteen) Illegal to murder someone with it.

You can’t equate the purchasing of a product with the usage. Otherwise, ban alcohol. Ban cars. Ban hospitals(that malpractice is a major killer). All kill more every year than murder.

    Alcohol:88000
    https://www.cdc.gov/alcohol/fact-sheets/alcohol-use.htm
    Cars:32,000
    https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Motor_vehicle_fatality_rate_in_U.S._by_year
Malpractice: we will use the low end of 250,000. Per year.
    Murder by firearm: about 12-14000.

Only one of those items is a part of my civil rights in the US. Guess which one you focus on? It’s the civil rights one.

I guess I don't understand what you are trying to say. If the government tried to disarm all americans, many, many would organize and resist against such a thing. Where do you see pretending?

Maybe "fantasy" would be a better word for it. But I see that this reply of yours is already a back-peddle so you must have seen the truth in my response.

Disarming the population has happened in many countries throughout history. What happens afterwards is never good. No back pedaling here. I just told you what would happen if the government tried to disarm the population. I sure as hell do not fantasize about it. It would be more of a nightmare than a fantasy. I would like to think our country would never reach that point.

To say it's a 'dismantling of the second amendment' to stop selling AR15s to high school kids is asinine.

I like how you took a condescending tone while making a stupid argument. I never made any comments about purchasing of a product. I made a comment about the selling. There's a lot of things in this world we have no business selling to teenagers. AR15s ought to be on that list. You know how I know that? From the schools, nightclubs, and shopping centers that are getting shot up in this country on a regular basis.

Beyond that your premise is just dumb. Cars, Hospitals, etc serve an obvious practical purpose. An AR15 being sold to a highschool kid doesn't.

You're asking at what age does a guy need an AR15? Assuming the guy has a full sized penis I don't know why he would ever feel the need to own one.
