The English exported their criminals to Australia and their Puritans to America.

Judging by the outcome it appears as though Australia got the better deal.

    Virtually ALL of them.

If the religion forbids or condemns or otherwise places limitations upon what is otherwise normal behavior then that is exercising control.

Abortion has been around since before the bible was written and was LEGAL when our nation was founded therefore that makes it one of the UNENUMERATED rights protected under the BoR.

All of the unconstitutional attempts in our nation to end abortion are motivated by religion.

If it wasn't for religion, the US would probably still have slavery.

Here's a question for you: What does opposition to slavery and the Pro-Life cause have in common?

Baloney...it was all economics and money...

    Absolutely nothing.

"Pro-Life" (Anti-Choice) strives to destroy women's right to their own bodies, making them slaves.

Like I said in my first post... "I learned long ago that its pointless to argue about abortion. Both sides of this debate have valid points. Though one side or the other refuses to acknowledge such." You're going to spin whatever I say into your own beliefs. Doesn't matter what I say. You won't listen. Closed minds will stay closed so long as you remain intentionally blind to everything but your own thoughts.

FoxHastings: IF they are "common talking points"" then why can't you produce an example?? :) :)

NO one has EVER shown proof of what you say no matter how many times I've asked....because there isn't any...

I didn't say you said anyone in this thread said it.....YOU brought the whole thing up, YOU.

I read your posts , refuted them...it's YOU who won't accept facts....and YOU who makes claims that are NOT backed up.

I didn't "spin" anything ,I asked you questions that you can't/won't answer...

Asking them to back up their claims stops them in their tracks :)

    You posts haven't contained logic..

And what do you mean by other "bad stuff".....abortion isn't bad...AND whether it's "bad" or not it's still normal....

......still can't address those "INCONVENIENT" posts :)

So, if you can't tell a woman she cannot commit this kind of homicide, can you tell her she can't commit other kinds of homicide?
    I don't get the logic.

Some "homicides" are legal...others aren't....see, it really is simple and abortion, no matter what YOU call it, is still legal :)

And if it becomes illegal, then what will this argument of yours say about that?

    Many religions supported slavery

Was it not Karl Marx who said “Religion is the opium of the people”?

To “normalise” something it has to be very common and although abortion is and always has been common it it NOT something done frivolously or for the sake of getting out of having to use contraception

It will be a grave miscarriage of justice.

As I have said dozens of times , if abortion is made illegal it means women will have lost a basic human right, the right of bodily autonomy.

So those who wish abortion was illegal is wishing for women losing their human rights.

Now,:) tell me...we had a Republican President...what did he do about abortion???

Seems abortion is still legal :) :)

So is killing an unborn child just because it happened to have been conceived from rape through no fault of its own.

We should do away with late-term abortion exceptions in the case of rape.
