...“The Biden administration and private companies are working to develop a standard way of handling credentials — often referred to as ‘vaccine passports’ — that would allow Americans to prove they have been vaccinated against the novel coronavirus as businesses try to reopen,” the Washington Post reported on Sunday.

“The effort has gained momentum amid President Biden’s pledge that the nation will start to regain normalcy this summer and with a growing number of companies — from cruise lines to sports teams — saying they will require proof of vaccination before opening their doors again,” the report continued.


“The administration’s initiative has been driven largely by arms of the Department of Health and Human Services, including an office devoted to health information technology, said five officials who spoke on the condition of anonymity to discuss the effort,” the report added.

“Our role is to help ensure that any solutions in this area should be simple, free, open source, accessible to people both digitally and on paper, and designed from the start to protect people’s privacy,” the administration’s coronavirus coordinator Zients said at a March 12 briefing. This is typical democrat bait and switch. There is little that democrats won’t do to expand government power and control over we the people’s lives. It’s a back door way to compel people to get a vaccine to work or travel. Our civil rights and constitutional protections are at grave risk under the Biden regime.

 

Biden and his regime treat us as subjects / serfs to obey and serve them rather that we are in fact sovereign citizens and they are our public servants.

 

I would imagine that businesses would track the people who use this passport. When law enforcement starts going to these businesses to pull the records of who entered them so they can either find witnesses or perps, then the ACLU will get involved and sue Xiden.

Remember folks, the Constitution is meant to protect us from government overreach.

The vaccine and usage is not required.

 

The Constitution has effectively prevented a fascist from overturning the 2020 presidential election.

As for the vaccine, a society has a duty to protect itself against those who might be propagators of a virus that has just taken the lives of 550,000 Americans.

How do you suppose we make this information "accessible" without "tracking?" The headline is disingenuous in using loaded language. Nobody is being tracked. It's just another of infinite databases owned by government and private industry. It's a vaccination database. Do you think Pelosi is going arrest everyone who hasn't been vaccinated? Maybe George Soros will turn his sights from CA forestland to anti-vaxxers with his satellite death ray?

I doubt this program will be utilized by liquor merchants. Those businesses who need to pack a lot of people into a limited space will be the most interested. Sports, concerts, air and bus travel, casinos, others I'm sure.

Security cameras prove time. This passport only proves the person was there. That's enough for police, though, and they will ask if permitted. If need be, this information can be kept from police with law.

I agree privacy concerns should be addressed, but this is temporary and designed to facilitate full opening of the economy.

I’m not an anti vaxxer. I’ve already had both doses of the Pfizer vaccine. I’m not carrying papers anywhere to prove it to any government or corporate hack though.

You do realize your vaccinations are already stored in databases? The government has been keeping vaccine records for many decades. Certain jobs require them. Foreign travel may require them.

If you want something bad enough, and the business requires proof of vaccination, I have a feeling you'll comply.
