States have never had the right to secede.

Once a territory becomes a state, they're subject to Article VI, Clause 2:

There's a huge difference between refusal to do the Fed's job and actively preventing the Feds from doing their job.

Agreed. From what I understand, most of the cities are careful not to interfere with anyone enforcing federal law.

If they interfere with the enforcement of federal laws, they should be prosecuted. Otherwise, we should enforce federal laws with federal employees.

 

Yes, but we have judges and law enforcement actively releasing prisoners early so they can avoid the Fed. This is why they get called sanctuary cities. In my opinion, passively ignoring illegal immigrants is a world apart from actively assisting illegal immigrants from avoiding the Fed.

No, it doesn't stop the feds. They can ban particular weapons and by the reasoning of the types who want to go after sanctuary cities, they should be able to coerce a state to round up firearms.
