By design....Republican tax cuts will hurt Americans. And Democrats will pay the price

Too bad the republicans in the senate and the congress do not spontaneously combust from their own greed and treachery and have their **** for brains and ice water for blood cover the walls and ceilings. These are the same sociopaths who inexplicably do not care that their own offspring are doomed just for their policies that are wreaking havoc on the health of the planet. These are monkeys in suits that have not evolved spiritually, emotionally, socially or intellectually passed knuckle dragging mentality...and saying this is being mean to the original knuckle draggers. If this is the best that nature has to offer for the time being as to what species gets to dominate the planet...it's time to admit that humans are doomed and rightly so. Good riddance to a failed species that eats its own and has all the hallmarks of nothing more than parasites. Back to the drawing board mother nature because with the exception of a few, this model was really ****ed up.

 

I think its bs that commie blue states can pass tons of taxes, and the rest of the nation has to subsidize them. Go Trump!!!

 

It's an interesting notion but I also think the Republicans weren't thinking of 2018 / 2020 - they were thinking of the here & now. Their donor class was screaming for its payoff and they are getting it now. The Republican tax plan is a pig and the lower class, working class and ultimately the middle class will pay a heavy price for this payoff to corporations and the high income earners / high wealth class.

Last night was comical, the Republicans did the same thing they blame Democrats for - voting for a bill they hadn't read. The over 500 page Senate bill had chicken scratch all over it with no time to read it. The whole process stinks and at least the Democrats and Bob Corker had the good sense to vote no.

 

And the same nitwits that this bill hurts, keep right on voting these flies on dog excrement into office.

 

We're subsidizing THIS mess to the tune of 1.5 trillion

 

Voting against their own best interest is what Republicans have been doing for 30 years. Unfortunately once they realized it, they bought into the Trump bullshit...and got more of the same...in spades

 

“Substantively, the Republicans have managed to take a bad bill and make it worse,” Schumer said.

“It was chock-full of special-interest giveaways before tonight, but under the cover of darkness and with the aid of haste, a flurry of last-minute changes will stuff even more money into the pockets of the wealthy and the biggest corporations while raising taxes on millions in the middle class.”

Schumer pleaded with the GOP to push back voting on the bill so that lawmakers could “clean” it up.

“I would make one final plea,” he said. “Because this bill is so slanted toward the wealthy and powerful ... because the bill was given to lobbyists to read and change before senators saw it, and because the bill was given to us on a few hours notice and has not been read fully or considered fully by a single senator, I move we adjourn until Monday, so we can first read and then clean up this awful piece of legislation.”

 

Yeah, California can pay for its own illegal alien sanctuary. And I say that as a Californian.

So either only Republicans aren't Americans and will be immune to tax changes, and all of a sudden Democrats are the only ones to pay the price? I think you forget what demographics make up much of the Democratic party

Sorry, we should have known that democrats have everyone’s best interests in their fake bleeding hearts instead. Just look at how well their policies work for cities that are run exclusively by democrats only.

The republican tax cut will pass by only republicans. Then the country's economy will roar and most working Americans, businesses, and retirees will benefit. Even the national debt will be reduced. That will further reduce the democratic party voters. Eventually Trump haters and the MSM will have to admit the Trump tax cut was a good plan.

I don't know what you think you'e talking about. The people who WROTE the tax bill say it will add a trillion to the debt...and that's based on economic assumptions that bear no basis in reality. It likely to add at LEAST 1.5 trillion

Im no fan of this bill but lets be serious, the hysteria agaisnt it is just comical. The chicken little act from the alt left has been so overplayed now that no one in the middle takes it serious.

No one here can name a single thing congress has done in the last 20 years that really benefits anyone but themselves and the donor class.

Before anyone mentions Obamacare, its a massive spending bill that hurts the middle class. Obamacare is a windfall for the insurance companies. Its a windfall for corporate hospitals. Its a windfall for doctors. Its an anchor around the neck of the middle class.

Tax cuts always favor the 1%. This is an obvious conclusion since a 1% drop for them is worth more than a 10% drop for the other 49%. As soon as I hear that stupid line mentioned, Im pretty much done paying attention. Come up with something new, like facts that show a structural favoritism.

The real question is why do you, Im speaking to everyone, keep voting for the same people over and over again? Why do you keep looking at the same heavily biased sources.


Now finally, we have the fake news. Most of what you hear on the news is real. Its also only the half of the story that the outlet wants you to hear. What you never find in todays media is a clear, unbiased reporting of the news. This is why you see front page news on the New York Tabloid, and barely a mention on Fox. Then you have full, detailed coverage on Fox, and just a small cursory examination in the WaPo.
