The part where you dont understand how infancy works in the law. Which is unsurprising. Parents control the property of child until majority. That would include arms.

Just as I dont have the right to a firearm being provided to me, the kid would need to pass 2 legal hurdles: 1) acquiring ownership of the arm 2) convincing their parent said property should be released into their possession, as with any other property the child owns. Just like they'd have to convince them to be allowed to publish a broadsheet, or wear leather pants etc.

Cite me a single real person who has stated explicitly they would do that. You couldnt the last time we had this exact same conversation, I'm sure you'll similarly flip the table and declare victory.

CC restrictions are DOA. Too many dems carry for it to ever pass. This is why they try to ban rifles instead of pistols. Pistols are used in ~90% of gun crime, but they're ~90% of what dem gun owners value as well. Pistols and CC are politically 'off limits' even on the left.

Private sales were banned here in WA years ago. At a cost of $10M per year, they've netted ONE prosecution since the law was passed, and that only after the prohibited person shot someone with the illegally obtained firearm.

The ban on 18-20 year olds buying guns was passed here in WA a couple months ago. So far, 15 of WA's 39 county Sheriffs have stated on the record a refusal to enforce that law. I expect that number to continue to grow, and I see no reason that a federal ban would have a different result.
