Just hitting the skeptic and warmmonger circles today. The mysterious figure known only as FOIA has released the password to the remaining 220,000 HADCRU e-mails to select skeptics. This is going to be fun. Watts has already posted some nice bites such as warmmongers agreeing behind the scenes that Dr. Mann's hockey stick is crap(no I am not paraphrasing), that the medieval warm period was warmer than the present and it was global, and that the oft cited on this forum Miss. Consensus Dr. Naomi Oreskes analyses are useless.

Its going to be fun to watch as the warmmongers scramble to explain away their contradictions as the skeptic community starts to sift through this vast treasure trove.

You can go to watts to read new e-mails as they are sifted out from the mass.

Yes. Exxon Mobil is the most profitable corporation on the planet, and it has a lot invested in fossil fuels. So, yes, it's about the money.

Exxon could finance all the world's climate science research for a year out of a couple of month's profits.

As to this "Climategate 3.0". all I see is incoherent gibberish.

    Oh, one more thing.

Why would a UK citizen who claims to have no knowledge of or interest in US politics, use a screen name that is an obvious reference to an American legal acronym? FOIA doesn't mean anything to anyone outside the US.

Quite right the Earth Science Center at Stanford, the west coast Mecca of AGW alarmism was paid for with a $500 million grant from Exxon.

The UK has its own freedom of information act.

The Warmist Deluded wiil wait for the Warmist Elitist "investigation" to declare "all is well", and then will ignore every bit of this indisputable, damnning evidence of the Warmist Cabal's ongoing conspiracy of lies.

Just like the FIRST TWO TIMES the Warmist Royalty at East Anglia were EXPOSED for the frauds that they are...wait and see.

I'm not so sure; they've demonstrated an unfaltering ability to completely ignore the glaring TRUTH about the now THRICE EXPOSED fraud at the core of their entire belief system.

They'll just ignore/mitigate this as well...wait and see.

Some leftist kooks think their pro-global warming brethren running the show simply want to save the planet from evil capitalists polluting everything. These Kooks say t's not about money, power to tax, power to control, power to redistribute wealth.Just ask Mr. Fitz, he'll tell you how honest and altruistic his leaders are. And you can take what he says to the bank! Honest!

It's all about money on both sides...but big oil would put huge capital into funding green energy if that product brought in more profit than oil, and nobody should expect them to try before it would.

Too many times the oil industry is demonized by people who watched "Dallas" too many times and think everyone is like JR Ewing.

What is ridiculous is this thread. Whereby Windingo tries to demonize Democrats over it all. I know it's fun, but how many more years of this right VS left prizm are going to cloud the objectivity of all involved.

All I have to say is "CURSE YOU AL GORE"!!!!!

Now now now not everything was a whitewash. The UK's chief FOIA official did say that the CRU and the individuals involved had broken the law but due to a loophole in the law the statute of limitations had run so no charges could be filed.

I dare you to quote where I used the words "democrat" or "Al Gore". There are warmmongers in the republican camp as well. Newt Gingrich, John McCain, Mitt Romney, they are all equally as ignorant as your democrat warmmongers.

I stand corrected...I had no idea that Newt, Mitt, and Johnny would be included in the category.

The only think I've heard all of them say is kind of like what I do, which is that we'd like to have green energy, but right now it's not cost effective.

When I think of somebody I'd characterize as a "warm-monger", I think of Al Gore, or Howard Dean, or the regular lefties on Bill Maher or MSNBC.......but it's your term, so I'll go by your definition

So true...what we do for fun around here if we didn't. :woot:

You and every other Carbonista. It's cognitive dissonance and you will avert your psyche to avoid a mental train wreck. La la la la la la I can't hear you.

We agree. One in a row. On my side, the do nothing skeptics, IT'S ABOUT MY MONEY. I don't want the feel good rent seeking scum suckers stealing it until it's absolutely certain we'll get full value for it. And I promise you you'll never meet that standard inside a century.

Wow....I'm speechless...yet somehow encouraged by the development.

But there is a lot of this century left to go. In 1913, were we even flying yet? I could look that up, but....

It's only a matter of time before the AGW high priests issue attack directives to their vast drone army and the internet is overwhelmed by the mindless spew of warmist propaganda and spin.

Why would they do such a thing. And prove they are the "most profitable" corporation on the planet.

Tell me if you got a letter from the company that manages your 401k and IRA investment telling you that for the next several months all the profits from your retirement accounts were going to be sent to scientist research climate, how long would it take you to pull your money out?

The US, UN and China are the most profitable corporations on the planet. Exxon Mobil isn't even close.

And do you view the research centers getting millions supporting this administrations desire to support AGW with the same skepticism? I mean if they start reevaluating and saying that perhaps it doesn't exist or at least not to the extent to be a major influence on climate how long would they keep getting their government money?

I hope the Global Warming guys are right... a temperature bump would make moving North a viable option.

RE: The recent paper in Science

"The four authors, three from OSU and one from Harvard, are quite fuzzy in defining the word "recent." Their analysis takes 1950 as "present." But then they add a humongous temperature increase by using all of the 20th century. That's really the crux of their claim, but also their weakest point: The only warming that's sure is from 1910 to 1940. Although that warming is certainly genuine, only a few fanatic scientists believe that it is human-caused. Not even the IPCC considers the warming up to 1940 as anthropogenic."

"On the other hand, the large surface warming claimed from 1979 to 2000 may not even exist. Opinions are divided on this important question. The warming is certainly not seen in the satellite data, the best global temperature observations we have."

"Of course, the authors ignore the fact that there has been no warming for at least a decade - while anthropogenic greenhouse gases have been increasing more rapidly. According to Philip Jones, the IPCC's guru on Global Temperatures, there hasn't been any significant global warming for 17 years!"

"Even stranger is their forecast for the future -- entirely based on climate models that have never been validated. Their exact quote is: "By 2100, global average temperatures will probably [be] 5 to 12 sigma deviations above the Holocene temperature mean." In non-technical language, this means a huge increase; but the probability of a large temperature rise is practically nil. Of course, they leave themselves plenty of room by providing at least half a dozen projections depending on assumed scenarios."

    Another Hockey Stick?

Sorry to disagree with you Ace, but I believe the Church of Anthropogenic Climate Change is all about power and control. This is all about being able to control everything ever single human does under the guise of something which sounds as benign as saving the Earth. Once the power elites decide what type of toilet you can use, what color roof you can have on your house, what color car you can drive, what type of car you can drive, the ratio of windows to wall space of your house, then they already got you beaten into submission.

The global warming acolytes want nothing short of your heart, soul, and control of every thing you do and everything you think.
