A new, two-dose Covid vaccine showed 100% efficacy against severe disease, and may be an effective booster for other shots, its makers said.

The two Europe-based pharmaceutical companies that made the vaccine, Sanofi and GSK, said they intend to submit it for authorization to regulatory authorities in the United States and Europe.

CDC to loosen coronavirus mask guidelines as soon as Friday

The new guidelines will seek to minimize strain on the health-care system while allowing more people to go maskless in indoor public spaces. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention will look not only at case counts, but at severity of disease, by factoring in hospitalizations and hospital capacity.

You don’t really think you’ll change their minds do you? Their opinions are set like concrete and logic and truth don’t make a difference.

There's some evidence (not substantial, just some) that COVID may have entered the human population either at Wuhan market either directly or else because it brought it there from the point of origin and then spread. It was a large crowded live animal market after all and hence just the kind of hot house environment a virus of that class would favor.

Problem is there's no certainty and wherever in the world scientist's might have pointed to as the likely origin point someone who 'knows better' would have come along with 'proof' they were wrong. Wuhan, Timbuktu You name they'll have iron clad reasons for why its wrong.

See? Told you it was the lizard people. All that science refuted with one post by someone in the internet.
