The best thing that can happen is for these morons to stand up there and remind everyone why we have the 2nd amendment.

 

From where I'm standing, the view is that it is the people who are so desperately clinging to their guns who are the Chicken Littles. They are so terrified they have become manic and frothing at the mouth. They will do absolutely anything, including allowing children to be collateral damage, sacrifices for the love of guns, and vilifying those children who reject the idea they should be such sacrifices. The bleating and screeching is coming from the pro-gun people. They've actually lost their civility and humanity. No one is going to take away their right to have guns; all that is wanted is to institute some sane, responsible and effective restrictions. Going insane at the idea is not what people with healthy mentalities do.

 

Hogg might think and act like a kid but he's an 18 year old who stepped into the political arena and started flinging ****. Once he did that he made himself fair game.

 

When is the last time the place you spend your days, your job for example, was attacked by a mass shooter and you went through what those kids went through? As far as I'm concerned, no one has a right to attack those kids unless they've been through the same thing. I have zero respect for anyone who thinks it's okay to attack them in anyway. To do so is indicative of people who have lost any right to claim to be decent or civilized.

 

Ingram is a sick puppy, so she should be boycotted. I can barely stand listening to her whining.

Really...a bunch of middle aged/old gun lovers are frothing a t the mouth because of what young Americans are legally saying.

It's so ridiculous how they look (the gun lovers)...and they seem completely blind to it.

 

Don't kid yourself - there are Chicken Little gun grabbers out there, including a former Supreme Court justice, who are calling for the repeal of the 2nd Amendment, and many of them dispensed with sanity, reason and civility a long time ago. Judging from his rhetoric, David Hogg is one of those individuals.

As for myself, I'm as frustrated as anyone that we can't have a calm, rational and thoughtful discussion not just about guns but the things that are driving gun violence. We're not even addressing the issues of why our inner cities have become war zones over the past 50 years and kids are suddenly lighting each other up in their schools. People are focused on treating the symptoms instead of curing the disease, so this problem is not going away.

 

To be perfectly honest I couldn't care less about either one of them and their little spat.
