The problem is that the reverse is the reality. The poorest have the most kids, the richest have the least. I suspect the poor do this because it's about the only thing they feel they have any power over. "I may have no financial security, but look how many babies I made!"
The universal method of ensuring financial security is to get educated and work hard. That's absolutely 'fair', because it's available to all in our rich western nations. No matter how much 'help' you throw at some people, they'll never do the two things mentioned above. In which case there cannot be 'fairness'.
And yet they do. You have to remember that we're talking about women who find the pregnancy and birth part easy (plenty do, myself included), and have no intention of being a responsible parent for 18 years.

I KNOW women gold dig .. and use whatever means they have at their disposal. Not all women, but it's a universal truth that the less well endowed (in intellect or looks) females use whatever they can to secure a male.
They're both equally terrible parents. She for choosing a crappy man and then breeding with him, and he for bailing.

Not to me; when I open my wallet, I have pictures of my kids where my money used to be! To me, my kids are a source of joy. I am happy to say that 3 of the 5 are supporting themselves. I am not saying that Section 8 housing and Welfare is a great income, but many settle for that way of life and raise the next generation to do the same. Im sure the mother of the son who has 8 kids and is sitting in prison considers her son responsible. [/sarcasm] Where did he say that? And who thought that only women needed guidance? To the poor people working minimum-wage jobs the children are also their source of joy and in many cases their only source of joy. I taught in a school with section 8 projects where most had public assistance ...And this may shock you but they have the same dreams and hopes for their children. I met students I taught there more than 30 years ago....(16 found me on facebook) and they are doing very well.when people look down on you, as though getting public assistance makes you inferior, it’s hard getting out of the rut...and of course racism...oh wait, there isn’t any anymore
