Since he's not being charged with a damned thing, let alone 18 counts of corruption, and wasn't convicted of anything, and is serving precisely 0 time in the hoosegow, they're not particularly comparable situations.

They do....criminal justice reform will apply to them for the crimes they commit here as well....and then deported, like any other person that commits crimes here and comes here illegally.

It should be noted that Jefferson was oringally sentenced to 13 years, after being prosecuted by the Obama Admin, the case was appealed, as issues were discovered, by 2017 the case was back up for trial, and the Trump Admin recommended time served.

Once again, the Trump admin,....showing equal justice, and fairness

 

Corruption is not avoidable. It can only be mitigated by limiting government power. Power is the result of taxing citizens, so taxes need to be reduced to an absolute minimum to reduce corruption.

Back on topic, these are not violent offenders so there is no reason to burden tax payers with housing them. They should be made to pay their debt to society, not increase debt.
