    You don't think his description of the article is relative to what he considers the "main" part of the article? From what we know of the facts in retrospect, that is the only logical conclusion.

    You have to remember that many, if not most, Trumpsters have only the most superficial understanding of current events, politics or government.

    But they understand salacious tabloid celebrity, which is the real core of Trump's appeal to his base (that and appeals to white resentment).

    In that environment, the audience glazes over when you start talking about money laundering, the attempts of the Trump team to coordinate with Russian intelligence, and the dependence of Trump on Russian finacing.

    But stories about "golden shower" get them front and center in front of the TV screen.

    Which is why Trump is clearly afraid of the Stormy Daniel story. Even though is vulgar misogyny and faithlessness are "baked in" to his public persona, he knows that a steady parade of new stories of this sort eventually start to disgust even the most loyal.

    The pseudo-intellectualism of the self anointed is quite fascinating to view. Such lofty perches they imagine themselves to occupy.

    Interesting how they keep trying to convince each other how special they are.

    With such genius, wouldn't they just accept the fact they are above everyone else, rather than having to claim it over and over?

    I realize how badly you want to believe any article with unnamed sources can not be relied on for their veracity, it just isn't so.

    Wounded? Absolutely not.

    Ironic? No. They took the time to contact what sources they could reach and otherwise verify the info in the article. They stand by it. You are free to dismiss what they said, without attribution (as always), if you choose. But then you appear to have a predisposition to reject anything you disagree with no matter how factual, so no surprise if you do.

    The media articles with unnamed sources are far more acceptable than the opinions and fake news of the alt right and the far left individuals.
