You are quoting ass covering stories long after it was exposed. And the FISA court has been reformed by what action?

The Mueller investigation says otherwise this was not a Treasury matter and Treasury says nothing about Trump or Manfort and there was nothing "sensitive" about what Manafort discussed with Kimilnik.

The court needs no reform, and acted as soon as it learned of the FBI transgressions.

Acted how? Was there some acknowledgement by the court that they violated civil rights? Any restitution, or simply "oops" and moved on?

A Russian proficient in English could've very well(per the latest indictment) gotten a website that says "Trump's leading Hillary by 2%)." It's a huge con game, we were lied to and now under Durham they're starting to prosecute liars, as the 'best possible' resolution(ie: We won't admit to the grand conspiracy, but we'll at least admit there was one and prosecute it to a lesser extent.)

Which, fine, whatever. Any form of punishment will be punitive to those who engaged in this.

The FISA Court? Describe how the FBI Dirtbag Liars were "acted on" by FISC.

FBI was compelled to change procedures and they will face more skepticism from the court going forward.

That's not going to cut it.
Had Trump not been elected we very likely would have remained ignorant to how much the FBI lies in these warrant applications. It appears to me that the FBI did not expect Carter Page to ever learn of these warrants or these submissions to ever be scrutinized.
Exactly. The lies are laundered through the FISA Court into Judicially approved warrants.

We'll have to disagree. The problem was in the FBI, not the FISA court.

The end is not in sight.
    Russiagate Has No Rock Bottom

    Aaron Maté, Substack

It did not seem possible for the Steele dossier – the collection of Trump-Russia conspiracy theories funded by the Clinton campaign; hyped by the US media establishment; and tapped by the FBI for surveillance and investigative leads – to get more embarrassing for all of those involved.

But the indictment by Special Counsel John Durham of Steele's key source, Igor Danchenko, offers 39 pages of new evidence that Russiagate — after five years of failed innuendo, debunked “bombshells”, and humiliating revelations — has no rock bottom. . . .

It turns out that it was the Clinton-Steele Dossier all the time and Clinton Russian collusion..... just like we told you all years ago.

Wow... CNN and MSNBC look extra stupid along with everyone that believed them.

Aaron Mate' is an actual journalist. The "Free Press" could use more with is skill and honesty.

This was a Clinton campaign operation from the start and the FBI 100% obliged, even with Comey going on TV and feeding the Trump Prostitute PeePee Tape bull crap.

Of all people, Russell Brand nails it down with straight up cited facts.

If the FISA Court offers us no protection against FBI corruption, what is it's point?

Brennan as head of CIA told the FBI in August 2016 that the dossier was made up nonsense, and yet publicly never questioned its authenticity.

Moral relativism. Lying about anything as it pertains to what a person did or didn't do in the invisible, imaginary moments of 2017-2019 do not bother me in the least. In the first place, if we had a competent FBI director(we didn't), like if I were there, the lack of even circumstantial evidence I would not have proceeded. And yes, then we really would've had Angry Democrats but at least I would have preserved the reputation of the FBI.

Evidence must be strong to proceed in an investigation, if not legally then at the very least for a strong basis of a successful prosecution. That's typically how most prosecutors and most DA offices act. That Comey fell beneath this standard, was damning.

It offers us protection. You have no idea how many applications for FISA warrants are rejected, or not even put forward because it's clear they will be rejected.
