Florida went yellow about 2 years ago and sine then not a single incident of a firearm misuse has happened, while state law prohibited school personnel from carrying guns in school Sheriff's in 37 of Florida's 67 counties got around that law by training school personnel and then deputizing them.

 

And instead crime against locals dropped sharply as criminals understood their chances of getting shot greatly increased.

No yet only shooting a student in one case and threatening to shoot other unarmed kids by pointing guns at them beside leaving guns laying around for kids to find but if you flood guns into school systems it is only a matter of time.

As legal guns had been indeed let lying around in schools already whatever the law state or does not state that you are not suppose to do so is kind of beside the point.

Then perhaps what really needs to be done, is the schools reconsidering their hiring practices, as well as acceptable standards of conduct for employment. If schools are hiring educators who have insufficient skills for handling stressful environments, and are prone to unacceptable outbursts of anger, perhaps they should not actually be allowed to be educators in the first place.

 

Great idea however if such a program would work I suggest they might also wish to used it for police officers first given their records of shooting down unarmed people in error an not adding children in their schools to the gun down by error list.

Law enforcement officers are tasked with enforcing the laws of the united states, and becoming directly involved with those who have no qualms of killing everyone around them. Educators are not. Therefore the standards must be different.

 

Then perhaps parents should educate their children to not go around pointing firearms at others, especially in a public venue.
