You are the one that brought up the GOP electing her.

So you should probably ask yourself why it's important.

I don't know what is going through your head.

You were the one that brought up Dems loving Palin. It's not my fault that you do not like the reason why they like her.

SNL from what year? If it was from Sandler-era back, I'd have to think about it.

Some of us don't watch the moronic TV (network or cable) at all. I watch one show. Perry Mason reruns. The interesting thing about this show is no one in the 50s seems to be fat.

In the case of VT, the near ubiquitous of firearms is probably a significant factor. If one were to randomly select a house (excluding portions of Chittenden Co. & the small pockets of "urbanesque" housing in Burlington, Colchester, Barre & Rutland) U'd more than likely find at least one gun in the home. A perpetrator w/ a firearm intent on utilizing it in the commission of a crime would realize that the likelihood of a good guy appearing w/ a gun is more likely than not.

    Exactly.

The fact is, there is zero correlation between firearm laws and prevalence of firearm violence. Zero.

Idaho has one of the highest firearm ownership rates in the nation, some of the most non-restrictive firearm laws in the country, and one of the lowest rates of homicide.

    Same with VT and Utah.

Why does the state of California want to disarm its people?

If these people are ineligible to possess a firearm, how did they get them?

    32nd?
With your draconian gun laws, how can that be?
With their minimal gun laws, how can VT ME UT and NH be in the top 5 safest states?

Californians recognize that it is not a safe state until better control of guns is implemented. Here's a helpful article on gun control in California:

California currently has the most draconian gun laws in the country -- why have these laws failed, and what additional law(s) will not similarly fail?

    Population, population, population...

Application our Constitution, '2nd A' becomes more difficult to oversee when the population is amorphous, unknown populations of mixed legals & illegals with virtually no tangible footprint or personal / 'communal' accountability. While being fraught with chalenges, the tenets of the 2A become, arguably, that much more imperative for the legal citizenry, given their situation in CA.

Gun control technology will greatly help. I have no argument over gun ownership so long as it is regulated closely. We require cars to pass regular smog control to eliminate toxic air. All guns registered/ owner compliance in mandatory gun safety workshops [like a driver's license]. Basically every gun is traced/ surveilled.

Given the abject failure of CA;s current draconian gun laws, how can you make this claim this with anything other than a 0 level of certainly?
