Sorry, those four lines make no clear sense. Probably my fault or something and there's really some super vital clue hidden in the four lines. Blacks commit by far and away the most crime. Not merely in the US, anywhere that they are, London for example. In the US there's the added bonus ball that they commit far more gun crime, up to and including homicide. The US doesn't have a generic problem with guns, they have a problem with blacks and guns. Face up to it and accept it. It's the first tentative step toward reality and solutions.

 

I'm confused. I thought that true patriots didn't see race and only liberals classified people by race. Patriots see Americans as Americans and damn the hyphenization and categorizing. So black folks aren't Americans? I suppose if you exclude all young men from the stats the rate would be even lower. And of the red states which almost all have higher gun violence rates than blue states. And since Asians (Sorry. I forgot patriots don't recognize race) have lower rates than master racers perhaps if we exclude white folks the gun homicide rate would be even lower. Maybe we should just judge the gun homicide rate among geriatric Asian Americans and exclude all those other "Americans".Cherry picking cherry picking cherry picking. Thank God true patriots don't categorize people by race and groups like those damned liberals do! Of course then if we measure sports accomplishments the results would also be somewhat skewed the other way.

What if we, as a country started treating Gun ownership the same way we did Car ownership?

Everyone still gets to buy whatever gun they wish...but:
1) The gun must be licensed.
2) To obtain said license one must pass basic testing that proves competence.
3) In order to use the weapon, it is required you obtain insurance against accidental misuse or damage.
4) Repeated or extreme incompetence leads to removal of the freedom to use it legally.

This may very well lessen the rate of damage inflicted, while placing no excessive burden of rights.

You forgot about the NRA and how to deal with them. They will never go for this at all and will use any and all means necessary, including lying. to not have this.

This can be properly settled by either or both answering these two simple questions any true American, as in 1787 constitution, can agree with and accept.

Do you agree and accept that the framers of the founding documents intended for us to alter or abolish government destructive to our unalienable rights?

Do you agree and accept that the ultimate purpose of free speech is to enable the unity adequate to effectively alter or abolish?

 

Of course it is true. Blacks are vastly over represented in gun crime up to and including homicide. Blacks are also vastly over represented in violent rapes. Approx 30,000 whites are raped by blacks each year. The numbers of blacks raped by whites was so tiny as to represent virtually zero in the crime stats.
