You brought houses into it, and I pointed out the fact that no one respects the walls of an abandoned house. Such walls will not keep anyone out, and can actually do the exact opposite, which is attract people in. Likewise, no one will respect walls in the desert when they can easily overcome them.

I chopped cotton in the 5th grade. Do you know what that is? Weeding the rows of cotton is what we did. We used a special hoe, I learned how to correctly sharpen hoes that way. A child too. We had no mexicans at all in the field.

I picked Currents too. Not for long, but I was paid to pick those small berries.

I guess to a Democrat, the mexicans are just paid slaves.

Your problem is that you think Trump has something else in mind for average folks.

Trump's budget plans on cutting education 10%. Do you think cutting education helps Joe and Jane American to work on the skills they need to get the manufacturing jobs of the future? If we're not spending the money the way we should, how about fixing the problem instead of cutting?

I keep wondering if you're an old guy with a lot of money who just wants more for himself, an average guy hoping Trump will cut spending on someone else, or maybe someone who doesn't understand.

All that, so the wealthy elites and can keep living in their ivory towers, looking out upon the serfs working their fields, and the serfs sending their wages back to their foreign homes?

We continue to raise taxes on the wealthy, more than any other state. The wealthy in California are overwhelmingly Democratic. Europeans pay much higher taxes.

 

My first real paying job was hoeing sugar beets as a 16 year-old. Me and a bunch of my classmates. It was a lot of fun, and I was able to make some nice spending money as well. So I've never bought into the argument that Americans can't do the work, or won't do it. It's a great learning experience for teenagers, and will serve them well for years to come.

 

There is no THE Democrats, so your claim is the whopper. Some Democrats were blathering away about impeachment, but they were always a minority.

My guess is that European tax monies get spent mostly on Europeans. Sounds to me like California tax monies are being spent largely on illegal immigrants, at the expense of their own citizenry. I lived in California for most of the last 30 years. Moved to NV in 2012; just didn't want to be a part of it anymore.

 

No, most of their tax monies is not being spent on illegal immigrants. That is a bunch of crock, and you know it.

 

Lot's of kids, more than ever, just not as many that are interested in doing manual labor, or any labor at all for-that-matter.
