But at least you now admit, if you aren't willing to take care of babies and children born into parents who can't afford or take care of them and would do an abortion at that point in their life, you have NO say. Only the prospective mother, and maybe father, have that choice.
Obviously this is an issue unresolvable by government as long as we remain free to think. Perhaps the best solution would be for Federal and State government to allow people freedom to choose, and allow any monetary consequences of the choice to be handled within the local communities as they are willing to bear by their own free choice?

How about a $1000 tax on the procedure, and a $500 permit before you can get one? Use the money to pay for sex education programs.
Sounds like too much government bureaucracy for my liking. Plus women can always lie about their father and a paternity test would be needed which is all just too much paperwork and money.
