What if she is? That's not a crime. Whereas spying on citizens without a warrant used to be forbidden under penalty of law, as is sexually molesting children as young as babies wearing diapers. Ditto mercilessly and knowingly targeting, killing and maiming innocent citizens in US wars around the world is a war crime.

You know, it is a great luck for a child to grow up in a kind and loving family, be well taken care of and protected from the evils of his own kind until he can defend himself.

They are trying that now. The idea is that they declare him a diplomat, the UK rejects the appointment and declare him 'persona non grata' (nations have the right to reject a diplomat), then Ecuador ships him out under diplomatic protection. I'm not sure if that has fallen over legally yet, but the fact that he is still in the Embassy suggests it hasn't worked.

Of course, he has been able to walk out at any time since he walked in.

 

Now THAT is a great suggestion! How can we write a letter to the Ecuadorian President? Or we should ask our own Governments to pressure the Ecuadorian. I'll sleep over it!

I believe Ecuador was put under pressure by the US and UK. Since they are such a small, unimportant country, they can't afford to not buckle.

 

Assange NEEDS to keep his mouth shut.

He should NEVER had had access to the Internet (in the first place).

They should've cut off his Internet access (permanently) the minute he sought asylum in the Ecuadoran Embassy.
