Bunk, the stock market began rising the day Trump was elected before he was in office, after being flat for about a year, in anticipation of a boom economy from Trump's tax cuts and deregulation. That happened.

 

Question has a premise that fails to factor in context, which was, that when Trump did the ban, the virus was already in America, so the ban is tantamount to shutting the barn door after the horse escaped. Plus 40k persons flew from China to US after the ban. Fauci is walking a tightrope between pleasing Trump, and not totally comprising himself. Therefore, we must take what he says in that light.

1. The risk of a pandemic remains low, Period! Thus, there was no need to scale down the risk to near zero, however, due to his narcissistic personality, he “had to”.

2. Trump; “According to the John Hopkin’s study, we are the most prepared nation to handle a pandemic”. Two weeks later, “I inherited a terrible system”. Again, he spoke too much.

3. Trump; “I felt it was a pandemic long before it was declared a pandemic”. Another unwise statement/can of worms. Long before means; Trump had several months to prepare for a pandemic, and said unwise statement contradicted his denials and dismissals.

 

Meanwhile, through all of February, Trump was still holding massive rallies and went golfing like crazy, just to show how serious he was about a pandemic that he of course did not understand, not even one little bit.

The Democrats impeached him because he broke the law. And a Republican broke ranks in the Senate to convict him, a Republican who was (*gasp*) once your party's nominee for president, just to note.

Winners take action. Losers blame everybody under the sun and throw people shiny objects to deflect. But now matter how you slice it, this is one huge piece of ****, right here, and every single person who voted for the *********ker owns this.

Then when Trum and Republicans took over, INSANE deficits, INSANE debts, big corporations did little to raise raise workers' wages or build new factories, but oh boy oh boy, could the Republicans corporations buy back stock, and did almost NOTHING to get new investment in the USA, and Trump has wasted a trillion dollars on making Americans pay tariffs to empty our wallets while our corations still made little new actual investment IN AMERICA!

An exampme right now is after 4 months, the Trump administration still cannot make enough SINGLE domestic supply of N95 masks for ALL Americans to buy!

But right now, I can buy a hundred Chinese versions of KN95 masks for $10!

What a MASSIVE FAIL! Trump is a FAILURE, the REPUBLICANS are a FAILURE, and 10s of thousands of American health care workers and Americans are paying that price NOW.

 

They would. They have already in the past. His name is Obama. When the Ebola virus struck the world in 2014, all of 11 cases reached American shores and only 2 people died.

So, let's see: 11 Ebola cases (2 that were contracted on American soil, 4 that were diagnosed here but contracted elsewhere and 7 cases evacuated to the US from other countries) and 2 deaths under Obama (D) and currently, 1,837,170 C19 cases and 106,195 deaths under Trump (R).

Also, he held a Superbowl party on the first weekend in February after knowing that the virus was spreading.
