Actually I follow and have followed a white rice based diet for nearly forty years. I read a great book that goes into how so much of the world eats white rice with vegetables and whatever little protein they can find to put in it and they are extremely healthy.
I try to keep white rice at around 70% of my caloric intake with vegetables and a small amount of meat.
Dinner for instance will have one small piece of chicken shredded into the stir fry for two.

I've never understood it. I was born in the U.S. of an American father and Cuban mother. I was raised much of my youth in Cuba and even had a Cuban passport for a while. Spanish was my original native language. But I have never called myself a Cuban. I loved the island but I was always an American who lived in Cuba from time to time.

 

Brown rice is better nutritionally but most of the nutrients are from what you put in rice anyway.

 

Using blacks getting less than a full vote in the antebellum period as an example of racism is evidence you know nothing of why that was done.
The reality is it was done to keep the slave owning south from gaining congressional seats and spreading slavery to areas of America yet to be states.

No individual vote but counting them in the census increased the vote for congressional seats of slave owning states so a compromise was reached and slaves equaled 3/5 of a vote. This is the reverse of an example of racism. It was in fact anti racist
