If you do not play Runescape it's your loss! Really, before my Invention was 120, I had a goal toward which I did lots of work. Now I am at Invention 120. Other skills are also relatively high, but they are boring to train at my level. I have 100 Summoning, 106 Slayer, 109 Magic, 106 Ranged, 106 Constitution . Notice that for Summoning, Magic, Ranged, Constitution levels above 99 are nominal -- they bring no benefit. Can anyone suggest another game for some time?
If that is all there is in your town. If I were you I'd go for flesh and blood humans who sit at chairs, but that is old fashioned
Learn to drive, then join the chess club. That way you will have even more options should the club close.
So, there's a skill called invention now. I quit RS around the time of the combat overhaul, where combat went from being relaxing to a spam-fest. Did they ever improve that?
Cricket! Any sport that has tea breaks and can come to a draw after scoring thousands over 5 days has issues. Although I do have one fond memory. 30 odd years ago I was in the Peace Corps listening to the BBC when they switched to a live cricket broadcast. The announcer said with typical British aplomb "We understand that the BBC international has picked up our broadcast and we'd like to welcome you wherever you may be." They were taking calls from the audience and one gentleman had this to say. " I live across from the stadium and I think it's outrageous that Indians are bringing noise makers into the stadium. Something ought to be done about it. " Can you imagine live call in on Monday night football?
No garage and no need, frankly. ****, I haven't even had to pay for an oil change since 2015 thanks to a generous little deal from the dealer. I prefer to tinker with computers, as I've been doing since forever.
An oil change takes about 10 minutes and doesn't require a garage. Depending on the car you might need a jack though. But hey, if you get them for free. Yeah I know a few things about IT stuff myself. I've enjoyed fixing things since I was a kid. Engines, avionics systems, computers, whatever.
7 Days to Die. https://7daystodie.com/alpha-6-is-out/ Crafting/Survival game, with zombies. Every 7 days at 10pm a zombie horde spawns that comes for you no matter where you are. Getting closer to 3K hours on it everyday.
Yes it is called ' the game of life ' and it is not about cyber games alone. Playing for fun and hobby is one thing but living to play is insane, imo. Too many rivers, lakes , oceans , forest and mountains and soils to plant to imprison oneself inside walls with a piece of metal with wires attached. I find myself staying online too much and I get busy with my garden ,chickens, fishing or boating. People especially the young are actually dying from starvation and thirst from being online too much. China has an epidemic of it with over 400 clinics to threat these messed up kids. America and other nations are not much better off.
Life is scary. The world is scary. Space is scary. but life can be amazing, the world does have its upsides and well, we're not out in space, the space we occupy is here on Earth, under atmospheric pressure even though there's so much space out there, it's not going to crush in on us and we're not going to fall off up there in the sky, so it's all good; but if life/existence ever does get you down, find something you enjoy doing to tide you over and keep yourself busy. Our bodies are scary- but at least we have them, and if Stephen Hawking and Roger Ebert could still enjoy life until the end, so can you.
Love can be scary, society can be scary (I guess) (depends on the society)... Hell, working in Construction could be scary if like me you don't like ladders, but... I like to face my fears because, A: I get paid for not going home, and B, I feel I've conquered a fear.
