Only Gun owners are not protected under the civil rights act. Excluding people based on things they have a choice in is different then excluding people based on things they can't choose.

Although not a bad idea to try and get the state to make country that is slightly bigger then the city, that is incorporated while the city in unincorporated so that the county police can enforce the laws of the cities legally.

 

It was built on limited government to protect the rights of the people; specifically the smallest minority there is: the individual citizen.

But you can thank liberal, left-wing people - most who support draconian gun control - for being directly responsible for the undermining of those protections.

Honestly? I think the Court has been corrupted for years; it rules to protect government overreach and violations of people's civil liberties in the name of protecting government power. The government has not obeyed the dictates of the Constitution for decades.

 

Yeah and half the country would be falsely educated, undeveloped, and oppressive, while the other half would be opposite. We would look crazy. Also no interstate highways if no income tax. I would love to see a world though where some people are taught 1600s creationist science and the others are taught 2000s evolution science.

Perhaps the best course of action is to simply suck it up and actually earn whatever citizenship is being desired like everyone else who believes in doing things the legal way.

 

Well I know in the EU they give stateless persons permanent residency. I might try renouncing my US citizenship in the EU since its kinda life or death. If nothing gets better not only will we have no heathcare, but we will also have more and more guns with less gun control.

 

And yet tens of millions of individuals are already facing such circumstances in their everyday, and not only are they are not complaining about it, they are not dying as a result.

 

Tell that to Gen Z who is being allowed to be shot up in schools for whom they are forced to go to because their Gen W/X parents don't give a damn about it and refuse to vote for people who will enact gun reform.

Over 40K people died each year before the ACA was implemented due to lack of health care.

As long as the new USSC lets states do what they please with social programs and gun safety reform, I will be fine because then I can want news as entertainment when the bible belt and middle america have no heathcare, real education higher levels of gun violence, and just plain horrible living conditions and the rest of the country starts implementing state wide UHC, free college, employing the unemployed to fix the infrastructure and over all double or triple the standard of living.

Well, depends on the reasoning. Sobriety checkpoints are legal, but a general search checkpoint is not (fugitive checkpoints are also legal). Checkpoints to search your car are not legal. Man, that pesky Constitution. Prevents totalitarianism from growing.
