The problem in Charlottesville, Pea, is that the "progressive" mayor and Democratic governor didn't enforce our state's mask law, just as they didn't take the steps necessary to establish and maintain public order and safety at the protests on August 12.

I've been to protests in Richmond where the police told protesters to show their faces, so it's not like the authorities ignore the law.

There is no legitimate reason for a person to hide their face at a rally, and I have never seen honest peaceful protesters hide their faces at any of the demonstrations I've participated in.

The only people who hide their faces are violent "protesters" - usually anarchists and ANSWERniks - who want to conceal their identities from the police.

There are one of two choices in this situation when the alt-left attacks wearing masks. 1) The Government (Police) move in and arrest those wearing masks in accordance with Virginia and Massachusetts law. OR 2) Armed, permitted and unmasked legal protesters simply videotape any attacks by the illegal masked counter protesters and shoot them when they attack. Which would you prefer?
