    I am posting this account because the author raises some pertinent points worthy of discussion IMO.

    We the People deserve a leader who does NOT embrace the bigotry and depravity of the racist white supremacist who committed this atrocious act of domestic terrorism.

    The BLOTUS has DEMONSTRATED over and over again that he does embrace the extremist alt right in all their odious hatred of what America stands for.

    Domestic terrorism is being tacitly CONDONED in the Whitehouse. That is an outrage and a High Crime against We the People.

    I have absolutely no reason to believe that the BLOTUS is going to be able to change and become the leader that We the People DESERVE!

    Enough is enough!

    Time for We the People to contact our Congressional Representatives and demand that they take action to remove the failure in the Oval Office before more innocent Americans lose their lives.

    We cannot allow our Representatives to also "turn a blind eye" to what happened. We must hold them ACCOUNTABLE for ensuring that this stops NOW!

    Failure to act will mean that the author's fears could come true in our fair land.

    Congress works under pressure so let them find the pressure to act waiting for them when they return to work for us!

    I fully appreciate that there will be those who support the BLOTUS who will oppose the proposal to ask Congress to take action to remove him because of his embrace of the racist extremist alt right.

    So unless you have a suggestion as to how he can improve and change to be the leader this nation deserves please refrain from posts that state the obvious.

    If Trump's numerous thoughtful denunciations of violence on ALL sides (and specifically of the KKK et al) are not sufficient for you, and you consider referring to him as "the BLOTUS" as respectful, there would seem little to discuss.

    Well, since Trump has disavowed all the stuff you want him impeached for, I say don't impeach.

    He's certainly getting a crash course in Fail on many issues though.

    I suggest we let him finish or committ an actual impeachable act.

    Everyone has to see the writing on the wall regarding 2020.

    Unless the man becomes Ghandi, Buddah, Jesus, or Capt'n Underpants, he 'll never get another 4 years.

    But we're just past the 6 month mark in the first 4 so, IDK.

    As far as he does not demand that new "Lee Harvey Oswald" has to come to clear political situation, he can title this idiot in White House to be what thinks!

    As far as this scum like Bannon is rated by Trump to be a good person, every discussion with this trainee in White House is superfluous!

    The BLOTUS has recanted on his disavowal of the racist white supremacist nazis therefore it still stands as a High Crime against We the People IMO.

    That inability to be trustworthy is another basis for removal.

    “Not all of those people were neo-Nazis, believe me,” he said. “Not all of those people were white supremacists by any stretch.”

    Actual racist white supremacist chants:
    “Sieg Heil,” and, “Blood and Soil” — strong neo-Nazi rallying cries.

    Denial of reality on your part does not alter reality one iota.

    Worth noting that so far all there has been is the usual denial of reality by the BLOTUS supporters rather than any meaningful discussion on the fact that the condoning of domestic terrorism is a slippery slope that needs an effective and competent leader in the Whitehouse to prevent happening.

    Those statements are damning and indicate that Trump knows he is in dire trouble.........in two weeks the axe is likely to be dropped on his neck on the Russia/Trump treason. He needs the White Supremacists to stop the bleeding and is using the statues as the level for a modern day civil war.

    Since the BLOTUS was thwarted in starting a war with NK and there are no other easy targets that just means he needs to incite a civil war in order to distract attention from his egregious failures. :eek:

    As some have noted he desperately wants there to be a conflict involving US troops somewhere so that he can become a "war president" but no sane person ever wants a bloody civil war on their own doorstep.

    I hope your timeline prediction for the SC investigation is on track because the sooner that fetid turd is removed from office the better for this nation as a whole.

    Interesting read. It doesn't fit unto the narrative the Trump loving bigots are pushing but that isn't surprising.

    Trump has, as usual, committed an unforced error. It's folly not to acknowledge it. His horrific leadership capabilities are on full display. As an longtime public entertainer you would think he would have gotten this right. He didn't. And he has also pretty much guaranteed now that he won't get a single thing passed that the people who voted for him want.

    The perspective in the OP put the incident into context as to how these events transpire into escalating violence when the powers-that-be see fit to not condemning it. In essence the BLOTUS is condoning this kind of domestic terrorism by his refusal to call it out. He failed to do so with the Mosque attack as well. This is a pattern that is disturbing to see in the Whitehouse. I cannot recall ever seeing this happening before in my lifetime. At least not here in America. It has happened elsewhere with dire consequences.
