It is easy to go from 10% unemployment to 5% in a good economy. However, when you try to go below 5%, there are only 5% left in the unemployed pool left to get employed and you can never employ all of them.

I realize those aren't the real numbers. I was demonstrating why it is harder to generate more jobs in a good economy than in a bad economy.

 

They did not start out great. They started out with the most infected individuals outside of China and very short supplies of masks. Instead of lying to their citizens they solved the mask problem. Because they didn’t lie the retained the trust if their citizens.

 

They were not well prepared with PPE as I have shown by their own admission. I’ve asked the board repeatedly for evidence that SK had stockpiles of masks as claimed. They did not and nobody can show they did. I’ve presented evidence they did not. Provide evidence they did have stockpiles and that’s why they were successful. I’m not interested in strawman arguments.

 

Hello! Yes! South Korea’s success was founded on them making the correct decisions on masks instead of lying like Fauici and then lying more to cover up that egregious mistake. That is my whole point. South Korea recognized masks were useful and solved the shortage problem. Fauci lies and said masks were not useful. Then changed his mind. He said he was sorry he lied but did so in large part because he didn’t know C19 would be driven by asymptomatic and presymptomatic spread. This is another bald faced lie.

South Korea had mask shortages. We had mask shortages. We had information about pre and asymptomatic spread. So did SK. South Korea was honest and succeeded. Fauci lied and allowed the pandemic to spiral out of control. His lies are a main reason many anti maskers don’t trust his advice today. For good reason. He stands by all the lies he’s told.

 

I am quite content with the healthcare I get in Oregon, which, by the way, has been one of the least infected states.
