    So what motive would someone have for calling a horse gay?
    Do you think he was merely making an observation that the horse was homosexual or do you think it was intended as an insult.

    If there was insufficient evidence it was right to drop it.
    However, homophobic slurs are quite rightly illegal in this country so I have no problem with the student being charged in the first place.
    There is no such thing as unlimited free speech just as there is no right to unlimited weapons.

    How does DC v Heller define how "arms" is used in the Constitution? As far as I'm aware, the case simply ruled that the 2nd Amendment protects an individual's right to keep and bear arms for self-defense
