*The Shahada is: There is no God but Allah, and Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah.

*In Arabic, this translates to: La Illaha Ilallah wa Muhammad rasool'Allah.

*This is the most important Pillar of Islam. One cannot be a Muslim without holding the Shahada in their heart.

*During conversion to Islam, the Shahada is recited by those converting. It must be sincere, and come from the heart.

*The Shahada expresses the Oneness of Allah SWT in the hearts of Muslims.

Islam is very deceptive, just look at how Muslim Imams and this include OJleb just how they twist everything from child marriages, jihad, wars, etc. It treat and or assuming that the audience are illiterates.

When none Muslims explain the Quran text we are accuse of taking the Quran out of context, but if Muslim explain it out of context they are consider doctrinal interpretation.

Child marriages just like jinns are Arab traditions that have been incorporated into Islam, every child marriage ceremony involve Islamic rites if child marriages are not part of Islam then Imans should not ceremonized child marriages.

Muslim, It should be "there is no God but God and Jesus Christ is his only and true messenger" instead it is Mohammed that is being praise side by side with God. While praising God, Mohammed is also being praise and worship.

That is why Muslims have problem with having a photo of Mohammed but not Jesus because they also worship Mohammed side by side with Allah.

All irrelevant. I do not live in America. The 4th of July means nothing to me. We in Canada celebrate Canada Day, which is the 1st of July.

And Muslims fast during Ramadan, which starts July 20th. And we celebrate Eid on August 19th.

July 4th has no relevance in this thread. But thanks for trying.

It has relevance to me and everyone in America. Muslim holidays are foreign in America, and have no relevance here. As for what is relevant outside the USA, inside the USA, we couldn't care less.

    Okay. Good for you.

This thread is not about you, or America. Again, your post is irrelevant. And whether you care or not is also irrelevant.

Feel free to start a thread for July 4th elsewhere.

[62:9] O you who have believed, when [the adhan] is called for the prayer on the day of Jumu'ah [Friday], then proceed to the remembrance of Allah and leave trade. That is better for you, if you only knew.
[62:10] And when the prayer has been concluded, disperse within the land and seek from the bounty of Allah , and remember Allah often that you may succeed.
[62:11] But when they saw a transaction or a diversion, [O Muhammad], they rushed to it and left you standing. Say, "What is with Allah is better than diversion and than a transaction, and Allah is the best of providers."

Hi friend in arms against the sexual promiscuity now enveloping the West...

    Who is this god Allah?
My God is Christ, the Truth.

John 14:6 Jesus saith unto him, "I am the truth, the way, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me."

    Have you heard of Jesus????

The image of Reality is Truth.

Thus acceptance of Truth is the right spirit of mind.
Men who live in acord with the vision of what is True ar sane, hence saved the faith of those whoive in fantasy worlds.

Well no... Muslims do not believe Jesus (pbuh) to be the son of God. He is one of the messenger/Prophets of God. Like Muhammad, Moses, David, Abraham, Adam, and many others, peace and blessings upon them all.

What I mean by God created Jesus (pbuh) was he was created in the same way me and you were created.

While we Muslims do recognize the greatness of Mary (pbuh) and the miracle virgin birth of Jesus by Mary (pbut), we do not see Jesus (pbuh) as god or as God's son.

*Zakat or Charity is one of the Five Pillars if Islam. It is required of all Muslims who are able to do it.

*Zakat is given during Eid al-Fitr, the celebration after Ramadan, and is used to help those during Eid.

*However, charity is a very important part of Islam, and all forms of charity, even a smile, brings reward from Allah SWT in any time of the year.

*Zakat can be things such as money, a smile, helping an elderly person cross the street, holding the door open for somebody, etc. Anything which helps somebody and is done with good intentions can be.counted as charity.

*Prayer is one of the 5 Pillars of Islam and is an obligation by all Muslims.

*A Muslim must complete Wudhu before each prsyer. The steps of Wudhu can be found HERE.

*There are five prayers prayed each day.

    1) Salat al-Fajr or the Morning Prayer. This consists of 2 Rakats.
    2) Salat az-Zuhr or the Early Afternoon Prayer, which has 4 Rakats. On Fridays, this prayer is replaced with the Jumu'ah prayer, which has 2 obligatory Rakata.
    3) Salat al-'azr or the Late Afternoon Prayer, consisting if 4 Rakats.
    4) Salat al-Maghrib or the Evening Prayer, consisting of 3 Rakats.
    5) Salat al-'isha or the Night Prayer, which has 4 Rakats along with 3 of the witr prayer which is prayed before sleep, following Salat al-'isha.

*Each prayer consists of a certain number of Rakats, which are like cycles which involve moving your body in 4 different positions.

*The 4 positions in prayer are:

    1) Standing upright with your hands placed on your abdomen/chest area (right hand over left hand).
    2) Bent over with your hands on your thighs.
    3) On your knees, sitting up straight, with your hands on your thighs.
    4) Placing your head to the ground in a neeling position.

These 4 positions make up one Rakat. And in each position, Muslims recite their prayers.

I would add more, but my phone gets slow when I have too many characters... I can continue this post, seperately, if somebody would like.

The problem with literary characters is that they are always claiming to be someone special.

For instance, Jesus said in John 14:6 Jesus saith unto him, "I am the truth, the way, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me."

Mohammed claimed to have been the last prophet.

Tarzan said: "Me Tarzan, you Jane,"

The bottom line is that it doesn't matter what they said because they never existed or they are long dead and have rotted away. If they were special they would still be walking around among us today.

Islam's divergent history with Christianity, for the most part, appears to have created a situation in which, whilst Christian nations had to externally solidify systems of secular law and tolerant ideology, Islam, whilst at a more sporadic pace, has attempted to manifest these values within the actual creed. That is my perspective on such historical developments, although plenty will disagree. In light of this set of events however, it becomes quite obvious that rather than some bizarre intellectual construction of a 'clash of civilizations' or 'war of creeds' etc, what we are witnessing today and over the last decade, has more simply been this internal struggle for Islam overflowing, with dramatic, but sidelined political events.
