There are many Americans (extremists) that want the US to be racially pure and even others that think American law should be determined by Christian doctrine. To say there are many Americans that.... is true for anything, but doesn’t mean it will happen.
There is not enough support that there is any effort with a serious chance of either Congress or a cabal of states to agree for a repeal of the 2A. In fact, at no time in US history, even at points of high anti-gun sentiment has there ever been a serious campaign with any chance of success to do so.
As for foreigner’s opinions about anything American without understanding the complexity of the culture carries as much weight as Americans doing the same for other countries and cultures for which Americans have little understanding.

 

And as many as 200,000 to 2,000,000 crimes are prevented by lawful gun ownership, as such banning guns would greatly increase violent crime and the deaths that come with it.

And because of that the UK has over 20,000 gun crimes each and every year and that number is rising.

So much for the idea banning guns makes a society safer.

Not really, they should be incarcerated or institutionalized where they cannot harm themselves or others, the same goes for those who have severe depression, one never knows when they might decide to take themselves out and kill a few others in the process.

 

It's a drop in the bucket compared to the number of American who die in car accidents and if you remove criminal activity and suicides the number becomes very trivial in the overall things in life.
