It's official: The US government is a criminal syndicate that is simply unable to investigate itself

Right-wingers are high on consciousness and run on reality - right:rolleyes: that's too funny considering how the right is completely cowed by the liar in chief in the white house just because he has given the corporate/military elites everything they could have ever wanted on a silver platter and now propagate his lies and ignorant nonsense to deflect from the reality of life in a divided America that is roundly ridiculed by friend and foe alike.

Nevertheless, you don't know my position on Russiagate so you are just using wild conjecture with no basis in reality to describe my post.

My position is and always has been that the criminality in the American political structure is systemic and goes back at least to the end of the war and the creation of the modern CIA and military industrial complex as Ike warned us of.

My point is that with the rise of Trump, the system has reached it's natural conclusion and the corruption and criminality is now so embedded that the empire has no ability to correct itself.

I have been consistent in pointing this out with evidence to support in thread after thread. Your Russiagate comment while having some merit in terms of the state of the corporate media in the US is nontheless irrelevant to my position on Trump's past and present criminality.

The first part (consciousness and openess) is from a psychologist so I'll ignore your post on that.

Don't forget, Americans have suffered 8 years of Obama and he's an unscrupulous character.

If you feel you're consistent, then that's good for you.

    Lol, which psychologist?

As feckless as Obama was in many respects, he was Abraham Lincoln compared to Donald Trump.

Abraham Lincoln must have been utterly dreadful.

You're dodging the question. Which psychologist?

Shortly after Trump came to power, he convened a meeting with top CEO's from around the country. It didn't go so well. Many of the CEO's left with the feeling that Trump was out of his depth. That he was too incompetent to accomplish anything useful. Trump's greatest accomplishment has been the Republican tax cuts. But then, with Republican majorities in both chambers, it was going to pass, no matter who was president.

What makes Trump work, isn't what he does himself, but by the fact that he is so corruptible, that the Republican agenda can be pushed through. Trump is mostly just a useful idiot.

Most companies have been ignoring the relaxation of environmental regulations. In 2020, it will take a single, simple bill, or executive order to reverse the damage done to the regulations.

Isn't that what they say. Not counting North Korea, we imprison more people, and at a greater rate than any other country.

However there is an interesting statistic concerning our prison population. A little over 20% of the population does not believe that a god exists. Only a little under 1% make it into prison.

Considering that Obama's presidency was the most scandal free, of recent presidents, and that the economy continually improved under his leadership..... I have my suspicions.

Quite so. The elite of this country do not support Trump. On this we agree.
Which is all neither here nor there about the support from the elites of this country who were solidly "with her."
