Violence is not the answer. 1. It should always be a last resort. 2.It would make Smollet a martyr. It would retroactively make his hoax a "truth". He doesn't deserve that.

This is the sort of thing that happens in literally every case ever and which a goos prosecutor works around.

The case is slam dunk, the issue is the blatant corruption of the prosecutor.

Nothing against Chicago but it seems it has a slew of problems unlike other very large American cities. The handling of the Smollett case appears to be inept by the city prosecutors.
