A wonderful video. Had the children had better nourishment they surely would have edited out the lame bits. It is a shame that their lack of nourishment depletes their ability to deliver a strong message. Let all who can hear be compelled by their cries.

While I do not condone destruction, I especially like the line: "Set the policy on fire. It can burn brighter than our [suffering]".

 

Kids do not "starve" on 850 calories for LUNCH alone!

And some kids eating too much sugar, fat, and carbohydrates (a preferred diet for most kids if they were given a choice without being given a direction) are starving their body of protein and meaningful nutrition.

Pleeeeeaaaassseee allow me to point out the worthlessness of calories.

When you try to reduce nutrition to a few numbers you fail to completely see what nutrition is. YES scientists have identified sugar energy, vitamins and elements present in food. That does NOT mean you can synthesize vitamins, and it does NOT mean you can put the vitamins into food that failed to produce it on its own.

If a food fails to produce vitamins, it means the food is sick and unhealthy. That is the majority of US food agriculture. It is sickly bloated starch industrial high-yield genetically altered franken food with vitamins pumped in to increase food nutrition ratings. However there is MUCH MORE to the food and nutrition than the US molestation of nature. There are bad elements produced by the disgusting foods and poisonous additives that remain unlabeled.

IT DOESN'T MATTER HIW MANY CALORIES THEY FEED THOSE CHILDREN. They are not nutritionally satisfied because the United States has allowed food corruption to pervade its society to such a significant extent that the children now eat the absolute worst of it. They were noticeably malnourished in the video. NOTICEABLY. And are sentenced to a life long of nutritional depravity.

The effect of poor nutrition can be seen accross the United States. Not only poor nutrition, but poisoned nutrition. And the US Government, if not to blame, if not responsible, is complacent. YES Michelle Obama gave a speech while unveiling "My Plate", however it is a one-off, pre-arranged event she didn't know whether she was going to be getting a pedicure or giving a food talk that day. Moreover the "My Plate" policy is absurd considering all of those items mentioned have a LOW CLASS and a HIGH CLASS construction, and the LOW CLASS variety of foods in the US are. CRIME AGAINST HUMANITY as significant as any other HUMAN RIGHTS violation that the US has SEVERELY perpetrated against the life of the world.

 

All first ladies need a cause and this is hers. School lunchs as a rule are terrible but they are budget controled. Parents need to get involved but they are too busy to care. She need to butt out, we don't need gov't assissantance in what to feed our kids. While we are on the subject, notice all the FAT adults.

 

It is more effective than the "Just Say No" which was a stone age "meme" and those programs have been shown to be highly ineffective in stopping drug crime.

Fewer calories of the same bad food is not going to help the children. YES - They could eat few calories of pure natural food and recieve the same nutrition, but they need to eat more of the bad junk food in order to recieve satisfactory nutrition and a feeling of fullness.

Michelle Obummer and the "Make kids thinner by starving them" act of 2010 are typical US Government corporate-written travesties designed to be repealed after a few years because they are ineffective. It is aaalmost like the corporations do not want an effective policy because they did not want the changes in the first place, and YES - I believe corporations are responsible for these 'sabotaged' policies.

YES - Some schools serve wonderful food, and I deplore the right's strategy of pointing out 1 good school as evidence of majesty in America. It is not the 'good' schools or food we are bringing to light, it is the bad ones.

The 'bad' food of US schools are typical US Fast Food ingredients such as chicken nuggets and synthetic pizza. Asking children to eat less of these foods while their bodies crave more to get the desired nutrition - is a travesty.

The FACT that a child's body craves more of the bad food, to get the necessary nutrition, is REVEALED by the video.nthat is the PURPOSE of the video, and the MAIN MESSAGE of it... The children are hungry on these policies. The junk food does not satisfy them.

Surely you ask... "Oh, but aren't you a hypocrite Marshal? Surely there is bad food in France and Russia?" No there is €£¥#%^* Not! That is the beauty of my argument. In Russia the 7-11 sells natural bread, milk, meat, cheese, crackers, chocolates, pastas, soups, sausage, slaws and sauces. Water, juice, beer, and vodka. And the vodka is mostly used as medicine to wash the mouth, stomach and other things. Not all of these in the same place, but always a selection. THERE IS NOT A SINGLE PLACE IN THE US THAT DOES THE SAME. The central "super market" in Russia does not sell food, it sells everything else. The food is naturally distributed among many many small outlets and also kiosks which you find along the roads. A similar pattern is used for medical and other supplies.

In the United States you can drive for miles, and miles, and miles seeing only junk food, junk food, junk food. Occasionally you will find restaurants, but they serve greasy salt soaked food. Then some attempts at natural food. A place with raw vegetables, disgusting bread, strange soups, strange wet roasted chicken. Ohh, it is horrible.

What they have done with government policy defies any sense of belonging. The rich maybe have never eaten the foods or policies they have crafted. THAT is the chief problem with the United States... The disconnect between its common people and its leaders. I am glad it's not like this in France.

 

So now Michelle (thru the Dept of Ag) will propose REGULATED AND AUTHORIZED snacks so kids won't be passing out during football practice after school.

Whatta circus. They should've just left well enough alone.

The corporate pigs will be all over this initiative with more corporate food concoctions ready to spoil the kids' dinner when the natural food for dinner doesn't have the same powerful taste as the franken-food "snack". As a result the children will be motivated to fulfill their fix by going to McDonald's or perhaps to a drug dealer.

As a result the kids will be at a worse nutritional level.

One thing is guaranteed. These snacks will NOT be made in the school cafeteria because it's far past the hours of operation. THAT IS WHY the corporate manipulators molested Michelle Obama into supporting Foot Ball snacks, because the only viable option is food from the corporate wasteland of social depravity. As the USA does not have a viable natural food distribution network the only option is children to eat what I pictured above as their Football Snack. More junk food.

If its an entire hotdog it will only be worse for their nutrition.... If I DID rate foods most American corporation foods would have a negative food value. Eating it has a negative effect on the body. I hold these truths to be self evident.

The teachers should hope they can convince people they were only helping... You are right... A lot of people would be angry if the teachers orchestrated it.

I think the message from children is powerful..... If it is their own voice. Their thoughts are pure and perceptions honest. The teachers' influence puts the purity of the message into question.

Still it is a message that is socially important and agreeable.

The US Government narrative is that child obesity is a problem, they blame it on the people, they lament themselves on peoples' eating up their food, and so they STARVE THE CHILDREN WITH FEWER CALORIES, hence this video.

Whether one likes it or not, policies AFFECT the society. What is the big deal if the rich must find riches in other areas. Surely they will not suffer as much as the people they are affecting.
