Catholic Churches Are Being Desecrated Across France—and Officials Don’t Know Why

    https://www.newsweek.com/spate-atta...-sees-altars-desecrated-christ-statue-1370800

Everybody knows why -- they just don't want to admit it; that their lovey dovey narrative is wrong.

But I still think, so far, that ISIS has nothing to do with Notre Dame.

A couple of years ago, my wife and I were in the Netherlands on V-E Day (May 8). We were told by hotel staff that they would stopping all activity for about fifteen minutes while they remembered what happened to their people in WW2. The hotel staff were all relatively young and were very aware of the good life they have. I don't think they want to lose it.

There was no welding happening, and no roof work...all anyone was doing was building scaffolding...

Christianity throughout its history grew the most during times of persecution. Russia suffered 70 years of atheism and persecution, and look at it today. In the Balkans it was suppressed for 400 years, but it survived, and it will survive the EU's secularism as well - although I'm not sure the EU will survive.

Even with Mohamed's armies and those of the Sultans later, it was still 1/10 of the population in the Middle East. Today with all the ethnic cleansing and massive killing of Christians by ISIS, Al Nusra and others, Christianity has actually grown in numbers. You figure! Messianic Jews who believe in Christ are also growing in Israel, and they are being persecuted so they do try to keep it hidden. Netanyahu even wants to pass a law making it illegal to be a Jew and believe in Christ.

In Turkey the Pontian Christians after the massacres and genocides at the beginning of the last century hid their identity. Many believe the Alevi's are crypto Christians - and there are 20 million of them today. When the Bible was translated into Turkish it sold 8 million copies which comes to about one Bible per family. Many Turkish visitors when they go to Greece ask to be baptized.

Anyway unlike Islam Christianity didn't grow with the sword, it grew through individual enlightenment. When Constantine established Christianity as the religion in Rome, it was because the majority of the population had become Christian - even under the immense persecution of the pagan emperors.

Anyway this is what I gathered from different sources.

    You're not out yet.

I think Europe will stop Muslim hardliners from brainwashing new generations of their children. What about the Brits?

I thought it would be nice to post this. Russia's top vocalists are singing Ave Maria in tribute to France's Notre Dame Cathedral. What a 'civilizational' difference from Clinton who wined and dined the 'whores' when they desecrated Moscow's Church of Our Saviour. I read that Putin had tears in his eyes as it burned.

I remember people rioted and causing a gov collapse and re election because of a fire in a club(no security inspections and poor handling of the crisis). It happened in Romania a few years ago. But the gendamerie is more armed and trained in France

"Victor Hugo thanks all the generous donors for the Notre-Dame, and proposes that you do the same for Les Miserables."

An interview with a government spokesman and another with the head of the contractor building the scaffolding, neither of which I can link. Believe what you like. The government made a call on arson and terror before they had even put any water on the fire. They may be right or they may be wrong but they certainly didn't base that call on any investigation of the fire.

Actually they said there was no reason to suspect terror.

Which in and of itself was silly as they had no reason to rule it out either...They jumped to conclusions and do not to this day know what caused the fire, though the folk working on building scaffolding were unlikely culprits as they had no power or power tools where they had been working.
