Looks like your community needs to hire better teachers as the ones you now have aren't meeting your needs.

Wait...so because there are kids who are 'anti-gun', that is your proof they are brainwashed? Hate to break it to you but, we live in a big world where people have differing opinions on many different subjects. Just because a person has a different opinion than you does not make them brainwashed.

All anyone has to do is to see that math, English, Social Studies, history are no longer taught. All they are taught is Social Justice, victimization and that whiteness is privilege. True education is an after thought. Just how many children today know to read cursive script or even write it?

Wait...math isn't taught? That's odd....why did my kid have math homework last night if he's not being taught math? And apparently my daughter lied to me about having to do a book report for her English class, considering she isn't being taught English. :confusion:

What was the subject of the book report? Was it about Marty becoming Marilyn by injection?
Ask any middle schooler who Pathagaris was and what mathematical theory he created. They don't know. Half the students coming out of college can't spell or create cogent sentences.

I have an 18 year old and a 19 year old. Both went to public schools k-12. I haven't seen any of the above. Please give us concrete examples of it.

Show us examples. Pro-gun Kashuv comes from the same school as Hogg.

Please show us good examples of the snitches among the youth.

Can't prove that something doesn't happen. The burden of proof is to show that something is happening.
I don't know who Pathagaris is. Was he before or after Pythagoras?

(My wife is a middle school math teacher. She just taught the Pythagorean theorem to her 8th grade lower level math classes. (the higher level math classes are being taught Algebra)).

Cursive is not needed in every day (or academic) life anymore. The only time I use cursive is when I write a check. Other than that, I print or type.

Remember the "Days of Rage" on the streets of Chicago in October of 1969 ECA ???

It was organized by the SDS who got their marching orders from the Kremlin.

Well it was a flop and a meeting was held by the leadership of the radical left. The conclusion was that they couldn't overthrow the government on the streets of America using the Vietnam War and the civil rights movement that was actually run by CPUSA who got their marching orders from the Kremlin.

So a new game plan was adopted. Cultural-Marxism (aka political correctness and multiculturalism) was adopted and they would call themselves the "New Left."
It was the end of the "counter cultural movement."

Some radicals like Bill Ayres and Bernardine Dohrn would split from the SDS and go terroristism forming the Weathermen aka Weather Underground blowing up ROTC buildings, banks, police departments and even the Capital.

While the majority of the leftist radicals who had a college education would continue the Marxist revolution by becoming school teachers and college professors to indoctrinate the young while others would run for political offices.

During the 1970's and 80's these radical leftist hid behind the liberal label in the Democratic party and soon would hijack the progressive label to hide behind.

The OP has failed. Time to close it unless we can see classes only in "Social Justice, victimization and that whiteness is privilege"

What you folks fail to understand is that teachers are hired, curriculum is set, books are chosen, and rules are set by the local political unit (school board) in your town. You are the ones that control all of this. I am retired, but I taught 36 years in 4 different schools in 3 different states and never got to decide the curriculum, never got to hire fellow teachers, sometimes I chose my own texts sometimes not. If you don't like what your school is doing get involved. Oh, leave my school district alone if you don't live here. Falls under the category of "local control"

Thanks for the correction I don't have spell check on my tablet. That sounds good. When I asked my grandson about it, he didn't know what I was asking and I sat him down and taught him the theorum from rote. BTW, he got an A in Algebra, Trigonometry and Calculus. Previously he had been failing in the subject of Math.

Thereby lies the rub. Are the parents doing what they're required to do to ensure good schooling for they're children.

Correct. The NSDAP was a youth movement. The Nazis effectively took over universities before they took control of Germany.

Nazi intellectuals then spread their poison in Western universities after the war. Heidegger was finally outed as a Nazi - but not without strong resistance from "progressives" in the liberal arts.

Look what they did to Don. This is his incoherent answer to his stance on troops in Syria.

"As far as Syria is concerned, I would love to get out. I would love to bring our incredible warriors back home. They’ve done a great job; we’ve essentially just absolutely obliterated ISIS in Iraq, and in Syria. And we’ve done a big favor to neighboring countries, frankly, but we’ve also done a favor for our country.

With that being said, Emmanuel and myself have discussed the fact that we don’t want to give Iran open season to the Mediterranean, especially since we really control it to a large extent. We really have controlled it, and we’ve set control on it.

So we’ll see what happens. (his favorite line when he is clueless....so used a lot) But we’re going to be coming home relatively soon. We finished, at least almost, our work with respect to ISIS in Syria, ISIS in Iraq. And we have done a job that nobody has been able to do. With that being said, I do want to come home, but I want to come home also with having accomplished what we have to accomplish."

So you admitted to making things up when you said Math isn't being taught in school. Just because your grandson was not paying attention in class, there was no need to come to a conclusion math isn't being taught.
