More lies about Trump

Questions are good. Opposing, not so much.

Looks like this thread is about one example.

 

It's ironic you had to say this in this thread.... Cause Trump was completely, virtually 100% vindicated by the supreme court, including its most liberal members.

Yet, the media, which bleated non-stop daily for weeks about the alleged "illegality" of his travel ban, barely mentioned it, desperately tried to minimize Trump's lopsided legal victory and moved on, never talking about it again.

PS your circular logic "I know from the media that Trump is ineffective, therefore when media tells me that Trump is ineffective I know they are honest" is a thing to behold.

 

No he wasn't 100% vindicated by the Supreme court. The supreme court only allowed parts of it to go into effect and when Trump immediately turned around and tried to clarify that part in the way of expanding a definition, a federal court smacked his butt to the ground again.

 

Their attempt to focus on the supporters he may lose without focusing on opponents/non-voters he may have gained (which were not polled) is a manifestation of the media dishonesty and manipulation of statistics.

You conveniently don't mention that this is a Washington Post chart which is hardly an unbiased and honest voice in the discussion about media bias.

Yet even this chart demonstrates the absolutely horrible, dishonest, one-sided coverage of Trump's administration, even compared with the coverage of GWB who, unlike Trump was in charge during two extremely unpopular wars that he started, 9/11, Katrina and collapsing economy... And yet, compared to Trump, his coverage by the media can be considered absolutely glowing. What does that tell you?

 

I did not say 100%, I said virtually 100%..... The court put tiny restrictions regarding immediate family members and let the ban stand. That was a total knock-out of lower level courts' decisions which legal argument was essentially laughed out of the supreme court.

 

How many times have we heard MSM tell us Pence is trying to distance himself from Trump -- that he disagrees with his actions or is embarrassed by his tweets, etc.

More lies. Pence agrees with most of us... President Trump is working hard for America... and has only just begun to MAGA.

So 7 in 8 Trumpees still have their head up their rear. No news. He proved himself scum long before the election and they didn't care. Why would they care now. They wanted scum. They wanted a traitor. They wanted an authoritarian who thinks he's a dictator.

The supreme court hasn't even heard the case yet.

 

Points to 8 yrs instead of 4. At the end of his terms, maybe Maxine Waters will take over and show us what the Dems can do.

 

Which did not prevent the media from bleating for months about the "illegality" of the ban and now completely shutting up and avoiding the issue entirely, once the supreme court put idiot activist judges in their place. Lest we forget that the reinstatement of the ban reflects the Supreme Court's believe in very high likelihood of ruling in Trump's favor.

The lies told about Trump are nothing compared to the lies he's accused of telling, 99% of which arent lies at all, but rather Trump expressing his thoughts. Unlike Barack who, 99% of the time, read from a script... Trump speaks freely. Hes nobodys puppet. He may say he wants to do something, only later to find out its not that easy in the federal maze... and liberals add one more to his 'list of lies' (trust me, they keep track). Not everything he says is a promise, not everything that doesn't pan out is a lie.

Same thing leftists do with anything they want to control... change the definition until statistics meet their goal. Their constant attacks on Trump say more about them than about him.

Trump's election didn't create the left's hate... it revealed it.

Republicans are little better. But at least you expect them to be pro corporation. Democrats pretend to care about the little guy but instead screw them over time and time again.

 

They essentially ask that question every time that poll the President's popularity.

In your fantasy world, Trump is wining by doing nothing, American is getting stronger by pandering to its enemies and scaring its friends, and more and more people are getting on the Trump Train.

So his falling polling numbers must be "fake news".

Of course, the reality is that Trump's popularity has been shrinking steadily since election day.

 

Trump is the guy who was going to drain the swamp, remember. He issues a lobbying ban, and then started handing out exemptions right and left.

Practically the entire management team of Goldman Sachs is in the White House and the Treasury Deparment.

Oil men rule the EPA and the energy department.

The Agriculture Secretary is a big food guy.

The truth is that Donald Trump made little pretext of his intention to make the government a smorgasboard for special interests, and to cash in to the greatest extent possible.

He goes on Fox Noise and yells "drain the swamp", and all the rubes cheer.

But the never ask what he is really doing.

 

I just wonder how this is any different from the Dem narrative that Trump can never win the presidential election.

The biggest bias of the mainstream media? Deciding what gets covered and what does not. Manipulation by omission is huge, and normally remains under the radar.

Yup. VP Pence is solidly behind the Trump agenda.

But isn't that the way of the media today? Pound on a crazy point, ignore anyone that says it's a crazy point while they're doing this, end completely ignore the entire subject once it's been shown to be a crazy point. Welcome to the new "journalism"...

 

You act surprised Trump has appointed non govt individuals to fill key roles in his admin. Where were you during his campaign? Do you not realize he has appointed people with PROVEN TRACK RECORDS instead of filling those slots with unqualified DONORS & political allies like previous presidents?

Time to wake up and smell the coffee, Tom. Expecting business as usual from Donald Trump will leave you bitter and confused.
